Remember Connors? That strange wonderful game? Then remember Vilas, Borg and Lendl, topsin terries? Then Mcenroe? Another Connors in that he produced a game never quite seen before.

I have to say, we haven't seen anything out of the real norm for a while. Is it possible for a Mcenroe to come out and play this game? I say it is, to some extent.

What unusual game is lurking out there? What wondrous, outside the box strokes are around the corner?

I think there is room for a guy with two forehands and a backhand. But it is even more work, for a game that requires almost too much work to become a pro.

Ideas, young players that are around the corner?

lendll lendll lendll

after Jmac it was time for the machine to dominate the 80s

and although mac wont admit it, Lendll was on another level to him

(although granted, mac had 2 amazing years)

"Then remember Vilas, Borg"

Yes, those really exciting FIFTY STROKE/MOONBALL rallies.

"and Lendl,"

The machine? Devoid of on-court personality ? That guy?

"Then Mcenroe? Another Connors in that he produced a game never quite seen before."

Yeh, not quite seen. Unless, of course, you saw Nastase. Who hit any shot JMac could and more.

"Ideas, young players that are around the corner?"

Dimitrov looks like the real deal but there's nothing "new" as you are looking for.

All courters and s%v

Andy Murray will redefine tennis and allcourter definition.

He will be what Martina Nav predicted.

S&V to players alot as a surprise tactic and the norm tactic against players like nadal.

Returners won't know how to return...murray will be unpredictable.

I also predict S&V might make a comeback at some point is the next 5 or 6 years or so...someone like Tsonga but just coming in all the time.

A time for changes....

Tennis has arrived now to a time of changes as in History the Middle Ages were followed by the Renaissance...Its now the time for Tennis Renaissance with new faces appearing here and there in the tournaments...
But this Rennaisance must be completed under my point of view by the following facts:
1-Tennis playing surface should be universal, all year long players would have to play on the same surface...a surface that will give everyone a chance...an ''equalizer'' surface...
2-More wildcards given on the tournaments as to give a chance to the lowest ranked players to make their appearance...
3-More tournament locations...to give the chance to everyone to go at least one time to see a pro match in their own countries...this would mean that the tennis associations will have a different schedule each year as to reach the biggest quantity of locations in the world...(Imagine for example changing Roland Garros for a tournament in South America, and Wimbledon changed for a tournament in India, and both mantaining their grand slam importance)...
I want to ask you what other changes would you do to be able to live the future Rennaisance of Tennis...
