I remember watching tennis in late seventies when WOJTEK FIBAK competed with the best of them and played in the final of Masters Year End Event.Unfortunatelly to this day he remains the only Polish tennis player who has ever been ranked in the top 10.

Ever since then I've dreamed one day smashing my racquet and behaving like an *** (as well as hitting beautiful volleys) one the lawns of Centre Court. Instead I will go to my club tonight in frozen suburban Minneapolis, volley like Roddick, dump many into the net, get passed a lot, double fault, and hit a few winners that no one will see. With any luck, I can still behave like an ***. The dream lives on.
You *saw* some Tilden matches????chess9 said:Tilden, Kramer, and Gonzales. Tilden had the grace and movement of a God, Kramer was Mr. Efficiency, and Gonzales played like a cat with its tale on fire.
