Need help. What is the stringing pattern for an H22 16x19? I've seen skip the 8s, o skip 7&9s. The latter blocks 8. I am using Technifibre 1.33 Triaxx. Great feel but the pattern seems off. I used the Blade 16x19 pattern but the top two crosses and the last two mains are real close together. Thanks.

My stringer says mains skip 8T and 8H and that it strings up exactly like current Blade 16x19.

Ordered mine too. Also interested to how plays compare t9 the ultratours (have 4) vs the blade v7 16x19 I have recently changed too.

Will be using volkii cyclone tour 16. (Thanks @g4driver ). Liking it better than hyper 18. Similar stiffness. Better spin and power and life.

Just curious, why did you go with the Ultra Pro instead of the Blade Pro?

Ordered a 16x19 strung with Alu Power Rough. Will provide feedback after I modify it and hit with it. I currently hit with the Vcore Pro 330 and the Ezone 98 Tour, and I have hit with the Technifibre 315 LTD in the recent past to compare the UP to. I am thinking of modifying to around 315-320 grams and keeping the balance around 315.

Because I a, thinking my blades are close to the blade pro. But 16x19 ultra pro is prob between my blade v7 16x19 (stock, Volkswagen cyclonetour 16@50)and the ultra tour (18x20 w weight and leather grips, 18g hyper @50) I used for the last two years.

Hopping to find the sweet spot between the two frames. Though I am liking the blades a lot.

Can't speak for RVA, but I don't need more power, want more feel. That's why I went for the UP vs the BP.

I def don’t need the power. But with the blade it is easier to take a lot off and still hit a decent ball. Ie out of position, late. Also easier to punish weak shots to me. But the UT is a nicer hit and when groving so nice.

Looks like everyone wanted the H22s, not mutch chatter over here. Seems the specs aren't super tight in the other threads. That's ok as I plan to add weight. As long as the balance isn't too wacky I'm beyond excited at a matched pair of H19 16x19!!! Can't wait for them to ship/arrive. Ordered mine in grip size 2.

The H22s are more user friendly for recreational players (and were in stock earlier) so not surprised there is more interest in those.

I see people are to lazy to read the threads so to sum up the state of our knowledge at this time...

These are only available through Wilson.com.

Mold wise:

H22 = Blade Pro (available in 16x19 and 18x20)*
H19 = Ultra Pro (available in 16x19 and 18x20)*

* - the hairpin handle shape on the Blade Pro 16x19 and Ultra Pro 16x19 is not flat but octagonal, you won't be able to put Head pallets on those, as for the Blade Pro 18x20 at least 1 poster seems to have a closer to prostock harpin handle shape

Layup wise:
H22 = Blade Pro - according to some posters the feel is the same as in prostocks, we have no way of knowing for sure but testers think these are the same but they are foam filled
Ultra Pro 16x19 - we don't know, the racquets haven't shipped yet**
** - exception being Australia (courtesy of @Classic-TXP-IG MID )

Specs QC:
Blade Pro - typical Wilson QC (non existent), the specimens are usually over advertised specs - heavier, less HL and so on...
Ultra Pro 16x19 - the racquets haven't shipped yet but there's no reason why the QC should differ in comparison to the Blade Pros so brace yourselves

Grommets:
H22 = Blade Pro - the grommets WON'T fit as the drill and spacing, at least on the 16x19, is different in the lower hoop in comparison to the prostock counterpart***
H19 = Ultra Pro - the grommets should fit as the drill and spacing are the same on both 16x19 and 18x20 as on their prostock counterparts***
*** - the grommets are supposed**** to be available only through Wilson.com at the end of the year (2020) or the beginning of the next (2021)
**** - some doubt that they ever be available because they were supposed to be on sale on the 10th but the date was pushed back - we call this Grommet Gate ;)

Is there anyone who can send 4 new Ultra Pro (16 x 19) Grip 3 to Japan with the grip film intact?
I will pay by PayPal.

Probably place a Wanted ad in the classifieds. General section should be fine. Pretty sure there isn't actually an Australian section.

Blade 16x19 IIRC.
I was just mentioning him because he nearly had another huge upset against Thiem, following a big upset against Wawrinka. o_O Looked like a H22 to me. Nice to know you can do nice droppers with it.

Anyways, back to the H19. With even better inherent feel.

So, I think I'm going to order one as well. Will be an interesting experiment I guess. Probably going to spec it up similar to my 97HD which I play stock w/ overgrip and dampener.

String setup I'm not sure. Either full gut or a gut/poly hybrid. Will have to see.

It's a little easier for me since I'm currently in long distance relationship, but I did mention to my girlfriend that I was maybe shopping around for another racquet. She made a face and asked "how many racquets do you have again?"

She understands that racquets play differently though. I also likened it to girls and shoes and she laughed at that.

My wife asks me the same. I always reply 'I have one less than the perfect amount . . . . '

why do they always ask that??? like theres a certain number of frames thats kosher? if i only had 2 it would still be too many.

also, i have gone the shoes analogy route but quickly realized my error. pointing out hypocrisy, whether or not it exists, can only result in mayhem and disaster.

i think you are okay atm... as she is the girlfriend.... until she becomes Mrs. fundrazer... then you are entitled to have as much fun as you want... have fun while you can

wife can be more "difficult" to manage, but this is a good one - i will definitely mention that next time when my wife rolls her eyes. 8-B
