Thanks so much!
For the past two years I've been getting my APDs strung at R.P.N.Y., with their proprietary strings. I just switched to their black poly in one of my frames. R.P.N,Y. describes this string as being somewhat similar to rpm blast, but with less spin and more suited for a variety of shots. (Strung at 50). I've been liking that a lot. It's also the string they had in their Pure Aero demo, which I loved. I really like the added spin I got and felt like I could take huge swings, keeping the ball in play and creating huge angles and pace (for me
) with my forehand and one hand backhand. My other frame (and at one time both frames) has that same poly in the mains and their version of a Biphase X-1 in the crosses.
I don't have a western grip or windshield wiper stroke but having that access to more spin has been great.
As a lefty, the spin on my serve as well as the placement gets me a lot of free points and ploys help that as well. The pace seems to be the same.
Again, thanks for the above list!
