No need for a 19mm noodle. Reality is sales will suffer. People whinge about wanting classics but they do not buy them they are just 'saying' lol 20-22mm and 98sq is fine in the modern game.

any update to this line is a good thing at this point in time,,
this current line is not moving at all, even the rep confirmed this
no one is asking for it and I don't see it anywhere
a more aggressive campaign to get images and people talking about this update would help alot, imo

early pictures and demos to reps would help..

The reason no one is talking about the Touch Prestige line is because the people know that pros get different racquets. The Pros get racquets with glossy paint jobs looks so much better than the dull matte finish racquets they are selling. Also people want racquets that play like the Prestige Classic, Pro Tour 630, and i.Prestige MP.

Ironically, new Wilsons (Blade) are closer to what Head used to be than the new Head experiments...

Try out the new Blade v7, it is very, very close. I actually switched from the PT57A and haven’t looked back.
Do you have the 18x20 v7?
vsbabolat, in another PT thread, convinced me to demo the v7 18x20 as a PT280 exit strategy into the 21st century. I will demo that and some other new 18x20s, but now this rumor of a new Prestige (without Craphene?) may make me wait before buying.

C'mon don't be so negative guys. Isn't Gravity promising? New Prestige will look and feel really nice. I even heard that from a top 40 guy who play tested it recently.

The Gravity's balance is off-putting. Loved the feel on contact, but just not maneuverable enough for me. I'm hoping for the best with the Prestige.

These are the racquets I still have to try:

Strike Tour
97HD
v7 18x20
PK Q+ Tour Pro
360 Prestige (when it's out)

I currently use a Speed Pro weighted up to 12.2 oz. and while it feels great this way I'm still wanting a little more stability. I'm hoping to find a racquet with better stability as a base before customizing it.

I think i figured out why Head decided to state that the graphene prestige was a true 95 instead of 98 that all previous true 95 prestiges have been labeled. Theyve probably known about this new line for a while now and want consumers to know theres a difference, beeing this frame will be a true 98...

play test new racquet? that means nothing. there are pictures show Nadal and tons of other top players play test MxG 1 in the past.

I tried to like it...
The feel was nice(r) than the last 5-6 years of crap, however, that head shape and instability with off-center shots was a complete turn off for me.

Oh and one more thing - is it true that new prestiges will also come with TK82S pallets????
If so, may just take the Blade v7 and paint it in Prestige colors...

I made the switch to the V7 18x20 when it first came out last month and haven’t looked back. The Blade really does have the same feel on contact as the PT280, albeit slightly more muted. The Blade also has a good deal of hoop flex which may take a bit to get used to for some folks, although I find it to exaggerate pocketing which makes it feel even more PT-like.

The Blade is definitely more powerful than the PT, but I think control is pretty similar between both sticks. I only ever notice the power difference when I need it (on the run or for put-aways) which is certainly an upgrade over the PT.

Overall I really think the Blade is a worthwhile modern equivalent to the PT, it hits pretty much the same ball and is actively being produced :)

I just hit with the Strike Tour and while I've only ever used 18x20's this frame was pretty much amazing. I strung it up with RPM at 50 lbs. Very stable stock with a tight pattern in the center of the mains. Prestige is gonna have to wow me after this tbh.

Saw the final paint for the prestige. Its hideous. Same colour blocking as new Heads. Bright red with dark red on the throat. Orange text. Bright red grommets. Very gross.
