I mean...it kinda was. It was only half a year ago that he absolutely suffocated Novak on Chattrier.
It just takes him a lot longer to warm up these days. He looked real slow & sluggish in Rome and pretty much every round before the semis.

All I'm saying is that I won't believe Nadal will lose RG until I see him down 0-2 in sets and a break down in the third, and even that would only apply if it's Djokovic on the other side of the net.
