Yup, he was great from what I've seen(I watched 2 matches at the same time), once he improves his ranking again he won't run into likes of Nadal so early.

We don't know that, I'd take Murray over him for one even if he played at this level today.
Perhaps so, but not Del Potro it would seem! And I like that, Del Potro looked like he still thought he could win that match right up to the very end, and probably still thinks he could have won it. Credit to Nadal, a fantastic performance, can't wait to see them meet again

Injuries don't just magically get better. Pain killers only do so much, and you can't just treat a serious injury and expect it to get better in 5 minutes (and that's what a MTO is RESERVED for, serious injuries).
