i mean these kind of photos are no proof for anything. i can post photos of madonna like this because in the world today exists something what the people call "photoshop". and not only photoshop there are makeup artist, professional photographs etc for this. not natural looking photo at all, you will never meet here on the court like this

While I agree that Sharapova is overrated because she's a star (not as much as Goerges and Wozniacki though), she's still prettier than about 90% of women. She's nowhere near the 99th percentile, thus we see prettier women all the time (at least in Montreal), but she's clearly above average in both the face and body departments.

Yeah, people are indeed getting taller (and fatter) with each generation, especially in the developed countries (nutrition etc.). Recently we had a discussion about that in the 'What height is tall?' thread. Germany has some of the tallest people worldwide, the record being held by the dutch.German girls also tend to become taller and taller with each generation.

But still, Sharapova is freakishly huge for a woman. I don't remember the last time I met a women of 6'2. I don't know where Fuji lives but according to his profile it's Canada which has an average heigt of 5'3 for adult women. Sharapova is almost a foot taller that that...

Women grow much taller nowadays, I don't know the poster in question but I know in places like Netherlands etc... the average height of girls is 171cm (...) my memory runs away from me but I can remember on TV on a news they had made on Latvia that the average height of girls in the country were 173 or 175...
Czech girls also are very tall in average 170+, anyways it's not rare or weird to see girls like Maria on a commonly nowadays and they're pretty sexy to say the least. Volley-ball has the most sexiest women in sports and they're sometimes even much more taller than Maria for some of the prettiest like Gontcharova (194cm) etc...

what is the point of coming here and post "she is ugly"?? - I know you are allowed to have an express your opinion - but what is really the point? my taste in women is better than yours? really? the girl I like is prettier than the girl you like? . come on kids, enjoy the pictures you like and do not pay attention to the ones you do not like, that is how you do it in real life anyway right? most of the times if the only thing you have to say is a bad thing then is better not to say anything...

I hear you, matter of taste. But to me, if you draw 9 random women and compare them with Sharapova, and do this a bunch of times, Sharapova will very often be in the top 2 and pretty much always in the top 3.

Ok guys. I don't have any problem with someone saying 'This girl is HOT or UGLY' or 'This girl is better looking than this other...'. Even there, everybody have their own opinion. But it sucks when someone put a whole page saying that one girl is really ugly. Doesn't make sense, because if someone put the photo, is because he thinks she looks good one way or another.

LOL Nope! Just Western Canada. Lots of farm born and raised girls here. Average height is around 5'10 - 5'11, with a lot being closer to 6'1. I'm only 6'0 and quite a few of my female friends are just as tall if not taller then me. I guess it's where you live and how the girls are raised!
