Hi, seems that Štěpánek is back to Head. Is that real Speed MP?

Not a speed, wrong headshape. Looks like it could be a Radical underneath the paint.

Maybe he stole from Djoko, even looks like a gut/ALU m/c hybrid.

Definitely not the Speed. The head shape is different.
I guess he's using one of Novak's sticks...

Both 'Steps' and 'Joko' originally used the Head Pro Tour 280 (remember the 'blue one?) so seems they are coming back to their roots...

How the heck can anyone look at that photo and see anything but the head shape and paint colors?

Djokovic has never used the PT280, unless I missed seeing it...
He used the LM Radical.

And the racket in the picture is not a PT280, looks like MG Radical MP

The photo in post #16 indicates that he is indeed using/trying out Head. I can't imagine he would put one of his custom buttcaps on a borrowed racket.

Maybe Radek was being treated the same as Bosworths retail customers. I tried for well over 6 months to get some and kept having the secretary say I will get a call back, which never happened. Was the worst customer service I have ever experienced... Like they didn't actually want to sell product.

for some reason I distinctly remember an occasion in which a pro borrowed another pro's frames because his were lost or something, but I can't remember who.

I know it was relatively recent, though.

Actually it was Stepanek at the WTF a few years ago. His luggage got lost for a few days and he borrowed Djokovic's racquets for some matches. I'd be very surprised if the same thing happened again to the same guy though. You have to believe since the passing of Warren Bosworth that at the very least things are in disarray at Bosworth the company.

Warren did not run the company in the last 10 years...
His son, Jay runs it and continues to run it the same, solid way.
A month ago, I needed some help from those guys (I know them personally) and they were too busy to help. So, I don't think the business is in disarray...

Well they have been too busy to email or phone me in any way for over 12 months. Very disappointing.

before that actually it's been well documented on here that the email/ online spec sheet don't get replies but then we are not world class tennis players and we'd probably attempt to phone back again another time.

I made half a dozen phone calls actually, always spoke to a receptionist who said jay would call asap. Never happened.

YES! Same here.
I told them I would buy 3...THREE...racquets. Three.
Never got a call back.
Called again.
No calls back.
Filled out the online form.
No contact.

I was also after 3. Was a 30th birthday present for myself... Very disappointed.

Yeah I'm watching him play against Del Potro, looks like Djokers racquet. It also looks like he's looping his forehand more.

His game seemed a lot more solid with them. He wasn't hitting puffballs, his shots actually looked heavy for a change!

But the code is a legit code for a Head Prostock IG Speed? Just not the one Radek is using?

I don't think the code is specific to a racket...but to a player
I have seen many PT57As with totally different sticker codes on them.
And I've had different PJs form the same player with identical sticker codes...

He must have gotten one heck of a sponsorship, I don't even want to imagine how much it cost him to get a custom Bosworth (multiples actually), considering that he went there and spent several sessions working out his exact specs. Multiple thousands of dollars I would think.

looks like a sponsorship thing. head is sponsoring the doubles team.

I was hitting at bolleteri in like July, and he, nishikori, and lisicki were there too. I was hitting on a court beside him and he was switching back and forth between a speed and his weird racquet. Thought that was kinda weird. Didn't give him too long to adjust to the new racquet if he just recently switched.

But there's no logo on his racquets ..
