If this was true, then why did Novak get the extra day of rest? Fed is 33, he can use all the rest he can get, yet he has ~40 hours between his QF and Semi, while Djokovic had 60+.

Yeah. If Novak serves this set out, Nishikori has to win the 3rd or he'll be toast.
I'm not seeing the fatigue the announcers and some of you are. Don't think there have been more than 1 or 2 rallies approaching 20 shots. Novak is just under pressure as the favorite - if he wins this set he'll loosen up; Nishikori looks fine.

The fanboys like to nitpick. Nadal fans complain about Fed's draw this year, but then as some other posters have pointed out, Nadal had a relatively easy draw here last year. It's getting really stupid, because they start polluting threads that have nothing to do with Federer/Nadal/Djoker.

Some great control being displayed in this set by Nole. That drop-shot earlier had a difficulty tariff of 10.. anything worse and it would have been retrieved but it was a clean winner dropper from behind the baseline.
