Djokovic is boring. Everything about him is boring, his style of play, hair, clothing, racquet smashing. There's absolutely nothing to talk about. He thinks that he'll just walk around with that stupid cocky grin of his face as if to say "look how good am, I'm not even serious and I'm winning" or crack a joke in the press conference and people will like him.

BORE.
And you are still here talking about him.

It is so petty why Novak gets so restless and starts spraying errors against Stan (I mean in the second set). I mean he gets so nervous + he lets the crowd affect him time and time again.

When will this guy learn to deal with it? Nadal has seen worse at RG and you gotta appreciate how he handled every time and won the title there.

winning 6 - 0 in the third isnt dealing with it ?

You fail yo understand that when stan is in godmode no one in the world can stay with him .. pity it doesn't last long

Stan still has chance :p Just kidding.

This is first BO3 vs Stan in a long time that Novak allowed to go three sets. He is never going to improve those overheads that is for sure.

Djokovic cannot win at Roland Garros playing like he is here. You can't wait your opponent out on that court.

He keeps doing it over and over again and has lost several times doing it. You have to go for your shots.

When Djokovic goes for his shots in a five-setter -- he loses way more often than not.

That's exactly right, and I think this is one of the key improvements Novak has made under Becker this year. We all remember those errors he made in those finals/semifinals losses from 2012 to 2014 - especially to players other than Nadal. His shots just don't have the same natural explosiveness as someone like Federer, Berdych, Tsonga etc, and he tended to overhit too often in the search for more power.

In 2015 he's just gone for the safe cross-court high looping high margin shots whenever he's been under the pump, and the results speak for themselves - even though he earns no fans by doing so. I have to say he was way more watchable in 2011 though.... I wish he'd adopt some of that aggression again.

If Djokovic bagels him, does that technically still count as not losing a set? Yes he lost the 2nd on paper but Stan had no claim on the 3rd.

It depends on the opponent. You can't say that he's miles away from winning that Slam, he's already made the final a couple of times against formidable opponents. He would probably have won it already had his opponent in the final been anyone but Nadal or Wawrinka (Ferrer, for example). In any case, I was just talking about how he would trade this match for that in a second, not about the specifics of what it takes for him to win at RG.

Seriously, why does Novak let the crowd get to him? It's petty stuff. I like Novak, but the fact that even at this stage in his career, he still let's it get to him is quite silly. Dude, get over it!

As I've always said, if anything the crowd only makes him play even better. The massive opposition at the US Open sure didn't negatively impact him did it? Nor here. Nor anywhere.
