The reason Sharapova crushed her previous opponents is cause she kept hitting winners off their weak 2nd serve so Kvitova, who's the 1st top 10 seeder player Sharapova plays in this tournment if i recall correctly, better come up with some good 1st serves today.

It's the same with both players. Kvitova and Sharapova both crush 2nd serves. Today's match all depends on who serves well.

Surprised at the easy hold at 3-3. With her weak serve and just having lost 3 games, I thought a hold for Errani would be more of a struggle. She must be SO relieved. LOL.

I've said it before as a joke, but I think the commentators should use the phrase "up a hold", rather than "up a break" in most WTA matches.

The spinner will not win the FO. But she choked less than Steroidosurus and deserves to be in le finale.

Seriously, I'm done making predictions for RG in the lady's side. I was thinking about Stosur for the title and here's another random result again.

I mean she's 5-0 to Errani, beat her recently in Rome with ease.

So, how do people rate the itty bitty Italian's chances in the final?

Not great, but outside chance. Seriously.

If she can junk it up a bit and disrupt Kvitova/Sharpova rhythm and "create" UES from them, then maybe. Neither is the best move on clay, and Errani seems to understand how to exploit that. But, there's always the issue of her serve which both could tee off on. And, there's also the fact that someone like Sharapova is about 100 times more mentally stable in big matches than Stosur generally is.

Again, I'd definitely pick Kvitova or Sharpaova to win, and if they're "on" could even see them running away with it pretty easily. But, I do think Errani has a small chance if she can get into the match early.

Wow! Sara Errani in the final.

For most players, higher ranked players who traditionally do well at Slams, I never think of prize money.

But, when someone like Errani has a breakthrough and goes deep, I always think about, in addition to the acheivement, how great the actual pay day must be, and how that takes so much stress off of traveling, training, and living expenses. She already has finalist money from singles and doubles, and has a great chance at winning the doubles.

710,000 euros ($886,435 USD) if she loses both finals
795,000 euros ($992,557 USD) if she wins doubles and loses singles.
1,420,000 euros ($1,772,870 USD) if she miracuously wins both.

Nice pay day.
