I'm not worried about Zverev against Federer. Federer has too much variety for him at the moment IMO. Federer would have to be really off on the day to lose to Zverev.
since its bo5, i'm not as worried, but still fed is still very prone to lapses. we'll see, who knows half the seeds could fall out or w/e

How is Novak having Klizan R1, Del Potro R3 a easy draw? He has the most brutal first week draw.

I am talking about the whole draw and the projected opponents.

Del Potro is an absolute unknown and probably far from his scariest.

Klizan is not more dangerous opponent than Brown for Murray in R2 or Dolgo in R1. In fact, I didn't realize that he is such a force on grass that he should be considered anything but a journeyman on the surface.

It's time for Thiem.:D

Thiem has been playing like garbage on grass this year in the fast conditions and can't handle big servers on grass very well even in wet conditions. Thiem is 8th seed and should have a good draw. Let's see who he's got:
R1: Pospisil - has given Thiem trouble in distant past, but Thiem often handles net players quite well. If Thiem does not come out flat should win easily.
R2: Simon - owns Simon
R32: Lorenzi - lol what a joke, so might be Donaldson who team has beaten once on clay. Very winnable round for Thiem.:p

R16: Bendych - last year's Semifinalist will be no joke. They've not played since 2014 and Berdy in a touch of decline. Winnable match
or Gasquet (would be nice match, but Gasquet stamina a bit shaky due to back issues) Very winnable for Thiem
QF. Djoko - probably the most winnable QF for Thiem
SF Federer - if Thiem gets this far he's in trouble as it will be fast and dry this year at Wimby so hard to see him getting any further unless Fed goes out early.
F Murray or Nadal - recent wins over both would give Thiem a ghost of a chance.

Overall a dream draw where Thiem has an outside shot at making SF.:D

Hope he is inspired for this and on as f. I believe its only mental problem for him his results on grass this season.

Let's see, Raonic has done nothing this season, Thiem as I said earlier is having post clay orgasm problems, and Fed just smoked Zverev. Concerns?

And even if he faces any adversity he will be able to just hide behind his serve and wuss out on any pressure situations on grass.

Can you please reveal what Del Potro has done on grass?

He made the semis in 2013. Besides that, he's done a whole lotta nothin' on grass. His BH is WTA level and Djoker will eat up his weak slice.

Gave Nadal a tough match at wimby in 11 4R.
Gave Federer a tough match at Olympics in 12 Sf
Gave djokovic a tough match at wimby in 13 sf

Beat Stan at wimby last year.

Nice thing about Federer's draw (despite the difficult 1st week) is that there is a good chance he will have an easy Quarter Final.

Both Raonic and A. Zverev coudl easily be knocked out, and there is not anyone else in that bracket that can pose a threat.

Haha. Too much!!

someone should act post that on twitter and see if fed and djoko fall for it.

given it is TRUMP and he is sorta a tennis fan having come to the usopen...they might take it seriously!

sucks that dimitrov and zverev are in fed's section.

would have liked his chances against the other big 3 on grass this year.

Not sure delpotro will even get out of first round....kokkinakkis has been playing well and he could cause an upset.

istomin could take out rafa...not sure how his form is but he has enough game to give him trouble.

bad luck for kyrgios to be in Murray's section...murray is the worst opponent for Nick out of the big 4.

Man. either the new generation got hosed this year with the draw, or this their coming out party and beat all their nemesis'.

People all wanting to see their guy get the easiest draw to the finals. LOL
I remember when none of the big 4 made the a Slam final (US Open 2014) which was incredibly rare. Maybe it will happen here.

I think a player Federer's age will always be under threat. It's a very taxing 2 weeks. Who knows?

Didn't he also beat Djokovic in that Bronze medal match at the Olympics in 2012 too? I seem to remember after he lost that epic with Fed that he beat Djokovic pretty soundly. And then there were rumors that Djokovic took a saw to some of his racquets after that loss.

yes, he beat djoko in straights in the bronze medal match -- after that marathon vs federer in the semi.

Nadal, whenver he has won the first 4 rounds at Wimbledon, has always made the final.

I don't think he has declined on grass, he was just unlucky to keep running into difficult opponents for 4 consecutive years. Darcis maybe was an odd player to lose to, but I'm inclined to believe the other 3 (Brown, Kyrgios, Rosol especially) would've been quite difficult to overcome for anyone on their days.

It's just 2012-2013 with knee issues.

From 2014, he said his knee had fully recovered but had series of other problems, didn't do well everywhere we all know.

It sounds like he has been free of knee problems from 2014, he should do better at Wimbledon this year.

It's 2015. But not really problem free. Just no injury.

Kokki is still random. He can be on fire one day and then lose in the next round.

Big 4 has decent draws. If they are to win, they should be able to beat their opponents all the way to SF, at least. Some tough opponents, yes, but you can't be expected to win a slam if you cannot beat those players anyway. May the best man win!

Star Sports Select Channels obviously. Both SD and HD. Hearing no Wilkins or Amritraj this year. Hopefully true.
You mean the same channels that showed the FO. Great ! I had subscribed to it on the last day of FO so am still paying for it.
I haven't heard Wilks and Veejay for many years, but they were a pain when there was a match going on and instead of showing that, they were showing themselves discussing their forecasts of some other matches.

Thankfully, we have streams although many of them are blocked by the govt. So many times Fed or Nadal would be playing a tiebreak and they would be showing Maria S warming up ! :(

Nadal is going to crash out early. There's no way he's going to have a shot against Gilles Muller in a potential R16 clash -- He better be praying for Ivo in R16 which is hit or miss.

I wonder who you'll be rooting for in case of a Thiem-Berdych R16. :D
I'm a bit relieved to see that Gasquet has a good record versus Berdy on fast hard courts (owns him.) They've never played on grass, but a good chance Reechard can save this Thiem Legende from some serious egg on the face and dispose of Berdy before he plays Thiem.:p

Popsicle will make that scenario all moot.
