Remember Del Possum was up 2 sets to love and we know what happened there. This curfew wrecks Novak's momentum. It's almost a 50/50 match tomorrow, considering Rafa's such a mental beast.

I don’t know about that. Novak’s level went down and nadal still couldn’t take the set.

Question: if they started the match under the roof, does it mean tomorrow’s match has to finish under the roof? Or roof open?

Got some bad news for ya; the match has been suspended until tomorrow.

Rest in peace though!

Toldya it was even towards the end of that 3rd .

You think Nadal can take it tomorrow, with time to regroup and outdoors?

Who do you think wins now? Rafa is really good at regrouping. :(

Whatever happens now, at least VB has their hearts in their mouths for a day now :D

So glad that stopped there and on a good note. I actually have things to do today

Everyone is forgetting how many times Nadal has looked like he's about to lose only for a rain delay or delay in general to happen and he comes back fresher and wins. It has happened like 3 times this year alone. Just saying.

except this match has been very close.

vs Zverev in Rome final
vs Schwartz in RG QF
which other match ?

I think its outdoors, pretty sure the rule that it must stay closed means for the same day, not same match.

But it is not clear cut so cant say for sure

Jesus christ that was amazing.

Nadal saved by the bell again

Djokovic is 2 sets to 1 against Rafa playing at the highest level he is capable of. This a guy who was losing in the 1st round in IW and Miami a couple of months ago. This break may help Novak as well though. He gets time to relax, talk with Vadja about things he was doing wrong and get to come out tomorrow with a chance to go to the finals.

Actually, the break helped Novak, he's the one who looked more exhausted. Nadal was playing in that third set with much higher intensity and was closer to winning, imo. Novak was more clutch, which was a bit surprising, but it seems that he's regained his mojo. We will see tomorrow.

I thought despite Novak being 2-1 up Rafa was better player for last set and half. Can see Rafa coming back tomorrow and it going 5 sets.

Much harder to do that against Novak Djokovic. A 12 time Slam Champion and former world #1.

Novak has to be the most frustrating player to play against this man literally doesn't make errors and can keep hitting shot after shot right back to you regardless how hard u hit it. That's gotta be his greatest attribute. Although that was a MAJOR chokejob ny Rafa
