Tsitsipas played intense 3 hours yesterday and it looks like he's completely fresh here. As if he had a week off! LOL
Great thing about being 21 years old.

Fed fans got so overconfident from the other day. Yes Fed was great on serve because he was facing someone he wanted revenge on and Novak was having one of his increasingly-prevalent walk through the flowers matches. Both are not consistent any longer.

no not all of us were confident and was novak that bad on thursday, couldn't watch. w/e it is what it is, ****ing hate that fed finally beat novak for this ****.

Federer had 90% of the court to aim for there, chooses to aim for outside the line. He looks utterly defeated, if he's gonna come back into this then he needs a miracle.

Not watching. Is Federer really bad? If so, it's even more sad that Nadal didn't reach the semifinals. On the other hand, Federer would probably play his best if it was against Nadal, so doesn't really matter.

I;ve never seen age be as much of a factor in Fed's game as today. He really does seem worn down by the physicality of the first hour.

Seems like Fed is struggling at keeping the ball inside the court, also a bit tired I think.
I strongly doubt he'll be able to turn this around now, too late.

I'm sorry fed is missing routine shots you telling me that it is all tsitsipas.

also im kind of annoyed by nole fans going on and on about how he threw everything to get revenge for wimbledon. please stop. we get it that is the only way fed can beat novak these days but i s2g that narrative is about to be really old two days later

Plus Djokovic played like his age the other day with rather poor lackluster movement and reflexes, and Federer played like he was 10 years younger. Today he is playing a fresh 22 year old with legs that can run for days. Much harder to do that against him.
This is what age does, you can have great days and terrible days like Fed is having today. Djoker and Rafa fan bases are starting to understand this a little more now.

This is the last match of his career. I believe Fed will announce his retirement after this match.

He was being outplayed from the start combined with his inability to break in the first set which i think has mentally ruined him and Tsitsipas simply has not let up all match. Second set Federer has played many many poor shots and it seems like his resistance is fading whilst Tsitsipas has stayed consistently great all match.

Well, I believe against Nadal he would play better. Still, very sad it's not Federer vs Nadal.

Yea roger is bad today and tsitsipas looks awful too. If roger ups his game even a little bit he would win which shows how low tsitsipas level is too.

No one ever said he was injured. He just can't take the humidity in slow, soupy conditions like that. Even Novak was sucking wind that week.

yep to be fair i dont think he was playing well during the summer, had nothing to do with injury. USO just doesnt suit him anymore.

Federer is mishitting today more than I've seen in a long time. Tsitsipas has really broken his rhythm out there.
