A simple statement: he hasn’t been top shelf since Zverev rallied from a set down at OG to win. He had his chance to rebound in the bronze medal match but you choose to ignore that.

You’ve proven you’re here just to argue and to make excuses, especially when wrong. Where is this horrendous crowd behavior you used as a crutch?Lots of applause when ND won the second set!

Pointless discussion because you’re going to see things your way no matter what. In legal parlance, juror Rudiiii is excused from duty because of prejudice.

Please don’t respond. I bow to your superior logic and take on things. You win.
Crowd is great, I was at wrong at that part. After two defeats in semis at OG, you would think he lost motivation for bronze. And I didn't make any excuse, I am not sure why are you using that word constantly, just sad he has hard draw,as your first comment was that his draw is not as hard as others are suggesting.

Or maybe I did watch his other matches and I used some common sense which it seems you seem to lack. Playing Fritz is not the same as playing Djokovic, it's mainly serves/returns and winners and UE. In this match he's had to play longer points and longer games and has tired much more quickly.

Btw, playing one long match doesn't excuse running out of steam early on in a match 4 days (!) later. Remember when guys were winning slams playing 5 setter marathons in both their SF and F rounds? That's stamina. Not whatever we're watching now.

Embarrassing, not just what's happening on court but perhaps moreso your analysis

Lol your common sense comment says you are a little broken hearted which prob doesnt take much
Fritz and Karat where playing well with more competitive time on the court of recent than Nole.

You lack a certain amount of neurons to thing consecutive 5 set matches as a droner
will not affect anyone later in the tournament. How many players have beaten Nadal
only to be mentally fried for their next match? even my 9 year old knows this.
Remember the past 5 setters of the greats does not change the fact this is a different game
in homogenized conditions at a level those past greats wouldnt even make the qualies.

Look at BrooksB he is still pushing Nole very well but previous long matches are telling

---Just to add, BrooksB is 6 foot 4 and recovery has never been kind to bigger bodied players

djoker looking like hes gonna get through. but he gonna lose this tournament ultimately. He hasn't had a legit convincing win since Anderson at wimbledon. if he thinks he can just 'outlast" the opponent the next 3 rounds when the opponents get better the next 3 rounds, hes in trouble

I think Brooksby doesn’t want the open court because he doesn’t want Djokovic chasing it down and putting angle on it and engaging in that kind of rally. He wants to keep the ball in the same direction, mix up the spins etc and then only go down the line when it’s absolutely on.

Djoker's still struggling to realize how solid brooksby is from the baseline

Death, Taxes and Novak Djokovic in SLAMS. These are the only 3 certain things in life.

No matter what happens, Novak always finds a way. That is why he is the GOAT.

only because this kid lost his legs after 1 set. Med/Zverev wont lose their legs like this early. If Djoker serves like a mug against them, hes done. He's gonna be broke almost every service game

Could be. Even though the open court was absolutely on. Reminds me of Ferrer a little bit, he would stubbornly not hit to open court at times throughout his career when it was on.

I think he will get past berra if he comes through here. I agree though it’s tough to see him passing Zverev or Meddy but one thing we learnt is as long as Novak still in the draw you can never count him out.

He wont win a calendar slam serving like this. He can't beat Zverev/Med back to back with a 10 percent first serve percentage
You always say this. But you're always proven to be incorrect. He will WIN CYGS and beat everyone of them. And it won't be in long matches either.
You are OVERRATING the next gen as usual. Zverev and Med are MUGS.

Let's wait. He will thrash Zverev and Med. Won't be in as much trouble against them. That's a different matchup.
And Zverev is not even guaranteed to go through. He could lose to Harris. You keep overrating the next gen.
