Nice win for Djoker, that was looking nasty for a bit

There’s nothing wrong with his wrist btw as well. Guaranteed SF with Sinner or Saf incoming, should be good if outdoors

If Hurkacz had a slightly better ground game he would have won this in straights. Was Karlovic like in the rallies, I knew he was bad but not this bad. Also suspect if it was someone other than Djokovic on the other side, he wouldnt have made so many brain dead errors.

Phew! I was starting to get really nervous in the middle of that 4th set. Djokovic definitely isn't winning the title this year but at least it's another GS quarterfinal for him and another tournament where he's won at least 90 matches. :)

My shed all painted and it is looking shiny. I feel for you guys. Why do you keep doing that to yourself? It's the weakgens. There's no point hoping. They will poop. Best watch weakgen vs weakgen match.

Normally i might agree but wonder what last night and today will have taken out of Novak and he might be really feeling it tomorrow.

Novak is unbeatable on grass. Mark my words he will win 10 Wimbledon titles.
I think its safe to say Sinner will eliminate Djokovic this week, and pretty easily.
We're seeing the last of Djokovic.

Guarantee if Rafa or Roger had won a match like that many on here would be lauding it as one of the all time great performances.

I am sure they did when Roger beat Roddick in 2009.
Nope, people lamented how terrible Roger was at returning and thought Roddick choked in key moments. Fed ground it out with 28% return points won - crap returning, just like Djokovic's today, which was also 28%. Roddick about 10% better than Hubie at returning. No one called Roddick's serve performance one of his greatest, either. Just completely overhyping this match, as has been the case with nearly all of Djoker's Inflation Era victories.

For the record, Roddick also had more winners and fewer unforced errors than Hubi. Fed had to hit over 100 winners to win that match. Djokovic had to hit 44.

Roddick was clutch on serve that day, Roger couldn't do much, just wait for him time.

Roddick pushing Rodger to 5 in that game has earned him legend status among Federer's fans despite the man having a pigeon's like record against Rodger(3-21). Anyone with a head to head like that against Djokovic would get labelled a MUG on these boards. I guess Wawrinka isn't called a mug but he at least earned his respect despite his overall lopsided record against Djokovic by beating him in 3 huge slam games.
