Zverev is afraid to play with a lead. We might see him play better in the third only to falter completely in the 4th, before Djoko does what he always does in the 5th

Well, so what should Zverev do now? If he's thinking the way you're thinking it will be a game over for him. People blame players for choking, for being too nervous and mentally weak when just as spectators they are so quick to give up on someone winning. I'm going to be so mad at Zverev if he does let Djokovic off the hook, but not judging him until the match really shifts to Novak's advantage.

Of course he's not thinking the way I am, or at least I hope not. Having been on the tennis court in competition I know that the way a match is analyzed away from the court is different from how it's perceived on court and a player must always remain optimistic. However you've completely missed the point of what I said so I don't really know what else to say

One thing Djole improved in the 2nd set is the return. In the first set he botched so mamy returns, even 2nd serves.

He was pretty solid mentally at RG though, even against Tsitsipas. Played some very good tennis under pressure back then.
