Nick Kyrgios is probably the hottest overall player ATM.

Last four weeks:

Wimbledon Finalist
Atlanta Open Doubles Champ
Citi Open Singles Champ
Citi Open Doubles Champ

Medvedev finally got his first title of the season in Los Cabos a couple of days ago, handing Norrie a bagel for his troubles.

Both appear to be in the best form they’ve been at all year. Kyrgios may be tired though.

Last Meeting was a 4 setter in Med’s favor at the AO, also in R2. How will it go this time? H2H IS 2-1 in Kyrgios’ favor.

Edit: LOL I put stuff in based on BO5. Sorry, guys.

I added the in 2 options at the bottom. Hard to remember this is BO3 since we’ve had no masters since May and have had 2 slams since then. If a mod happens to see this and could fix the poll that would be great

Kyrgios in 3. Will be hyped match of the day and maybe whole tournament looking at draw.

hyped match of the tourny will be Alcaraz vs. Sinner in the SF if they happen to meet, IMO

So impressed that the National Bank Open presented by Rogers has opted for Bo5. Hope this improves the Next Gen. wait….

Med in 3, with several meltdowns by both guys.

It's Montreal, nobody really cares about Sinner and Alcaraz is promising but hasn't established a brand either. Medvedev is defending champ and lost in Final last time he was in Montreal plus Kyrgios is Kyrgios.

Felix vs. Tsitsipas would likely be most anticipated final.

Could someone please advise whether this match is 5 sets? I see a lot of people voting for the winner in 5.
I thought Masters did away with 5 set matches.

If Kyrgios is getting smashed he will probably retire before the end. If not I expect Medvedev to do it with a break and a tiebreak

Looking like this is gonna be decided on a handful of points in breakers. Meddy barely getting serves back in play.

Med can be very vulnerable to servebotting, it’s an underrated weakness of his, bc he never changes the look he gives you on return. If prime Isner and Karlovic were around they’d give him issues.

I think Kyrgios is playing smartly with these serve and volleys, it's territory he's comfortable with and Medvedev isn't the greatest passer.

Medvedev needs to stop fighting the backhand-to-backhand exchanges. Kyrgios can push with him all day long and go down the line when he fancies it. Med needs to try and break down the forehand as Djokovic did at Wimbledon.
