Everyone not saying Rafa or Tsonga is crazy imo. If we're talking about physically strongest. Also Gulbis? What? Is he even muscular at all?

i saw that video and i'm almost certain it was meant to be a joke.
Pretty sure it wasn't. It's okay, he's pretty fit. Maybe one of the fittest guys on tour. But definitely not "the strongest". Although he might believe himself to be very strong due to his "ripped" appearance.

Karlovic - leverage.

truly though he's not quite as skinny as his height makes it appear, either...no question at that size he's a super strong dude.

other than the giants, though, i'm not sure anyone is in the same league overall as sam groth (recently retired though i believe.) that dude is menacing.

Isner is the biggest and therefore the strongest.

For his size Wawrinka is quite strong.

Wish they explained it a bit better, instead of letting them interpret it themselves. I feel like there's answers for various reasons. Ivo was my first thought as well.

People underestimate the strength of tall athletes because they look thinner due to their height.

An 18 inch bicep circumfence will look bigger on a shorter guy because of the length to width ratio. I'm guessing isner is very strong because he is tall and not super skinny either.

He's the greatest deadlifter the ATP has ever seen.

Günter Bresnik, who coaches Thiem AND Gulbis said about Gulbis: "Physically he's a monster, the strongest I've ever had."

So I find it rather amusing that Thiem is an option in the poll while Gulbis is not. :D

It certainly isn't Zverev.

Athletically strong? Nadal
Simply raw strength, Tsonga and even Wawrinka.

I think Rafa's the right answer for "Strong" overall like physically strong meaning endurance, stamina, athleticism, and power.

If you're talking pure strength then yeah it would be bigger guys like the Isners, Karlovics, Groths or as mentioned Tsonga, Wawa etc.

Rafa weighs well under 200 and there are guys far bigger in height/frame and even a few that look more like a bodybuilder in terms of muscular development. Rafa takes it overall though IMO.

So not surprised so many said Nadal. That's what I would have said. Depends on how you interpret the question.

I picked Verdasco. I think back in 2010 I thought he was maybe too big for tennis.
I had a coach who thought that Tsonga was also too big, and that even though he has a stellar 5 set record, his size limited his ability to recover.
