Tsonga -Haas and Federer Andreev is probably the only good matches I enjoyed from the Federer section.

On the Nadal section we had Del Potro Blake, Roddick Lopez, Roddick Gonzalez, Cilic Del Potro.

I guess we agree to disagree :)
I suppose that's true when put them all together. But then there was also the horrible Cilic/Tomic. I think that one cancels out all the good. :p Then we have all of Djokovic's matches... hmm. Fine, we can agree.

I hope the Tsonga/Almagro one doesn't turn into anything exciting. He should break right about now and then serve for the match.

Just imagine if ALmagro beats Tsonger in 5. Djokovic's draw will be the easiest path to the semis of a GS ever.

Today's tennis matches really f*cks my brain:

You have Verdasco who pulls a 45 winners/ 81 unforced errors ratio, 20 df and pushes Davydenko to 5 sets.

And then you have Tsonga who has 70 winners/ 29 unforced errors ratio, 2 df and he's about to be pushed to 5 sets?

What the hell is going on?

Nah, Almagro won't win the tiebreak. But that Verdasco match was painful. Just error after error.

LOL!

Cahill, speaking to Davydenko: "Did you know that Tsonger has never played a 5-set match in his career before this?"
...
...
(Davydenko silently staring blankly at Cahill.)

Wow that brain fart by Tsonga on the second serve could literally have cost him the match. Crazy stuff. Almagro celebration looks insane on that slo-mo replay.

I guess Tsonga had to play a 5-setter eventually, but that was really a stupid double fault in the tiebreak and that last volley was pretty spotty.

Doug Adler's analysis is hilarious. In summary, he basically says Tsonga is making a lot of errors, bad plays, so he thinks Tsonga is a little shaky. Brilliance.

on a related note, do you know how many GS matches he's played ?

Off the top of my head no but I'm guessing number is pretty low.First time I remeber seeing him play a slam match was that first round(I think)against Roddick in 2007 AO.
