BELIEVE IT! One of these mugs will make the SF! Who'll it be?

Who will make the semis from the barren second quarter of the Wimby draw?

Some mug is gonna make the SF and be awarded ZERO points for it. :)
But with a lot of money in his pockets and the prestige of having come far in the Mecca of Tennis.
Who knows, a Rolex commercial awaits one of them in the future.

Norrie, first mug confirmed to SF.
We must congratulate him for his best slam ever showing, besting prior 3R achieved five times.

Nobody saw Garin approaching at the gates of the hall of this exclusive group for players.
And Kyrgios not listed in the poll, means he deserves great respect, and can't be considered a mug, just because before a mug, he is a clown.

I think you've misunderstood - this thread was specifically about the second quarter of the draw (the projected Ruud/Hurk QF), where less than 48h from the start of the tournament, we already knew one of these fine players would be a Wimbledon semifinalist.

Garin and Kyrgios are in the bottom half. The former is certainly a surprise, he really took over that Berrettini spot and rode with it! The latter, in spite of the constant clownery, was always the favorite to emerge from his section.

Sorry, I did not notice it was a partial mug inventory.
I just thought other mugs deserve some recognition, too.
