Ah...well. Who’d have thought that Thank you very much. Although that being said, there are no APD grommets for sale at TW Europe...
Call TW Europe and see if they can still get them from Babolat.

add a little lead at 3&9 or 2&10, and drop a couple of pounds in tension will doAny suggestions on how I can get the pure aero vs tour to play a little smoother/not as harsh and get a bit more plow through? Love the spec and feel in the hand
I was thinking of adding a little lead at 3 and 9, otherwise I like it , currently strung with cyclone tour at 52lbs, and probably going to to go a little lower?
Thoughts?

well I never played it stockDid you do this? make much difference? how did it play afterward?
Awesome will give it a go thankswell I never played it stock
added lead at 2&10 to reach my ideal swingweight before stringing it
All I can say is that I don’t feel it harsh at all after extended use. (In contrast, aero pro drives makes my hand hurt in 10min)

Agree, I have been testing the new pure drive tour and whenever I have Stiff string in there, I have arm pain for like 20 minutes, but as my arm loosens up, pain diminishes. But if I have softer strings in there , it is much better. I don't this frame mixes well with Stiff poly full bedConsidering Pure Drive Tour...just afraid of TE because of the reputation of stiff racquets on arm health. Play 2-3 times/week 4.0-4.5 level, 60 year old almost all doubles. Any comments on your experience with the Pure Drive? Babolat official I know your job is to sell racquets but give me your thoughts from experience of any play testers.
they did that on purpose to reduce the weight of the headguard. It can't be changed. it is GOOD headguard. This has been said many times before, but I wish the new pure drives have a better head guard design. The head guards curve inward right where the racket is most vulnerable during play.
I have a question. You know this sealed in Barcode sticker on the throat of the babolat racket in picture below....... I had this racket for more than a year now and have been using it a lot and I see very thin hairline crack on the sticker itself right next to the barcode. Hairline crack isn't on the racket itself as far as I can tell. It is only in the inside the sticker where the barcode is. Is this something I have to worry about ??? What is this sticker made of anyway ? It seem to be heat sealed in and is part of the racket itself.@EKTiger The Pure Control line was re-branded as the Pure Strike VS and Pure Strike VS Tour. Curious to hear your feedback once you've had a chance to play and compare!
TW lists it at 321g strung and 6 Points Head Light.
My suggestion takes it to 335g to 340g strung and 10 points to 12 points Head Light.
I don't think that would be heavy or sluggish. But I suppose it depends on the player.
I think you are referring to a different frame to what im asking about , im referring to the pure aero vs tour which is 320g unstrung
The sticker is a very important structural part of the racquet! Your racquet is useless now and you’ll have to buy a new Pure Aero. Do not continue using your racquet with the cracked sticker. You can have a catastrophic failure at anytime!I have a question. You know this sealed in Barcode sticker on the throat of the babolat racket in picture below....... Diadem https://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/ind...r-any-and-all-questions.610535/#post-12041914 says only low ranked Head players (like Garcia-Lopez, ranked 69) can stencil a separate string brand on their frames. Are Babolat players allowed to have a separate string stencil? The Bryans would likely want to keep their Solinco stencil.
Yea, I don't see a visible crack on the racket itself. hairline crack is just where the barcode sticker is at. What is this sticker anyway ? How is it put on the racket ? it is Not a stick on sticker barcode. It is Sealed onto the racket itself and feels like it is hard plastic but not part of the racket itself. Am I correct in saying this ???@Nostradamus I think as long as the racquet is not cracked, it should be fine. I'll inquire with our warranty department and report back if their findings are any different. Thanks for the heads up

It is also a way to tell if your racket is fake or genuine babolat racket . Is there a chance that my racket is fake ??
This has been said many times before, but I wish the new pure drives have a better head guard design. The head guards curve inward right where the racket is most vulnerable during play.
Babolat have the worst bumper guards. I think it’s a design flaw that’s done on purpose so that the racquet gets damaged and worn out quicker forcing you to buy a new racquet quicker. This has been said many times before, but I wish the new pure drives have a better head guard design. I will try. but I bought it at TW so it is highly unlikely it is fake..... and what are these stickers made of and can they form hairline crack like this over time as racket ages ? I think sticker is put on the racket Before the Gloss goes on the racket. so sticker is underneath the gloss, I believe.@Nostradamus can you direct message me your serial number and I can verify if it is authentic? Thanks

Pure Aero have one of the worst grommets and bumper guards I have ever seen on a racquet. Strings don’t properly seat inside the grommet channel and hangout passed the frame and get damaged from court rash. The bumper guard doesn’t cover the edge and racquets get worn very quickly. The design of the 2018 Pure Drive bumper guard doesn’t protect the racquet from court rash at all. I don’t think it was designed to protect the racquet. It’s just there for decoration. As far as paint quality go Wilson hands down has the worst paint quality that I have ever seen on a tennis racquet. It’s shameful. You must be talking about the recent ones.
Personally I think the bumper guards and grommets on the 2013 AeroPro Drive models were sensational. I still have seven of these racquets and also two 2010 AeroPro Junior models. They have all seen fantastic service mainly on clay courts and they are all still in fantastic condition - apart from one of the APD Junior racquets that lost one grommet very early on probably due to a manuf. flaw - I use tubing when I restring that one.
The more recent racquets I have from Yonex are rubbish in that regard. I have had a couple of recent Wilson racquets which have decent bumpers but not to the standard of the APDs. Unfortunately both the Yonex and Wilson sticks are let down by the very poor paint quality.
Here is the picture of the hairline crack on the sticker only.I think it would help with identification if you could post a picture of your crack.

I loaded the image above, and racket serial number does look authentic. but that hairline crack seem minor. What do you think ? I don't think the racket itself is cracked. just the sticker itself has what looks like hairline crack. I don't think I will send it back since this is discontinued model and you won't have exact same new racket to replace it with. Agree that it is just sticker that looks like has the hairline crack. just very weird@Nostradamus It doesn't appear the racket is cracked but without being able to fully analyze in person we can't say one way or another. In my opinion, it seems as though just the sticker has "cracked" (not sure how that happens) but if you'd like to send it back for a warranty evaluation, let me know. Thanks for the posting the picture as this is a first for me!
The racquet is totally ruined now. Don't play with it anymore or it break and shatter.......

here is the picture of the hairline crack. What do you think ? probably nothing, right ?

you see a hairline black line that looks like a crack right below KJ107361 letters ?I dont see a crack...?
OK, I see it now that I am looking on my laptop. I didn't see it earlier on my smartphone.you see a hairline black line that looks like a crack right below KJ107361 letters ?

it does feel like it stops where sticker endsOK, I see it now that I am looking on my laptop. I didn't see it earlier on my smartphone.
I bet it's just the sticker. Maybe from heat or something. Do you feel it when you run your fingernail over it? If it stops where the sticker ends on each side and you see nothing on the racquet itself, it's pretty safe to say its just a blemish or split on the sticker.
Hi Babolat forum! I need some help and advice
I live in New Zealand and I have recently inherited a Babolat Sensor Stringing Machine from a pro shop that went out of business a while back. The machine was in a bad state and has had no proper maintenance (since 2006 I think?) and I have spent the last few months trying to restore it as the main computer still works perfectly it just needed some TLC.
I have discovered that 3 of the 4 clamp bases that I was given have broken springs and it looks like they have been broken for some time, after some research 2 of the clamps are the V1 design and 1 is the V2 design.
The local rep isn't bringing in parts anymore as the market for machines here is very small (understandable) but these are the only pieces that is stopping me from returning this machine to its former glory.
Where could I find these parts? I am at the point where i'll pay any type of money get these parts here.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
