His shoes do have the logo. He's even taped up like Nadal. I believe it is Nadal, unless Fed hired someone to look just like him to practice with to help with his mentality...?

It is Nadal. They are practicing to see if the prints on the net would affect players' visuals during play. That I read from the Tennis.com site.

no, but Blake and Roger did on thursday. The crowd was huge. I'm convinced they played an extra hour because soooo many people were watching.

I was there. Blake and Fed hit for nearly two hours and then the crew put up a whole new net with big lettering on it and Fed and Nadal hit over it for about ten minutes and that was that. I think the ATP must have wanted their feedback on the net and if it was distracting, etc.

yeah, another great idea...
(the only thing that could acceptably be written on the net would be "de villiers sucks") ;)

Yeah, that would be a fitting line. Or maybe a little "what's this supposed to do?" would do too.

Btw, some posters here don't seem to catch why those two got to hit together.
Maybe, they don't bother to read the article explaining why Federer and Nadal hit together.

Some idiots (we can only guess who the main culprit would be) of ATP suggested an idea to put an ad across the net :rolleyes:and Federer and Nadal were supposed to give it a test there.
They must be very nice guys. I would just flat out shot down the idea as ridiculous without even bothering to test it.

ATP needs a real marketing expert (or at least expert who knows what the game is) instead of those idiotic amateurs who lacks any expertise on marketing and the game they are supposed to sell.
