I'm not sure if this means that Grigor isnt in the main draw, but hes 2 ranking spots away from making the cut on this entry list, so its quite a shame if he needs to go through qualifiers.

And he would have extra points from the Qualification rounds.

Playing Qualies might not be such a bad idea.

2) he should get a WC because he's climbed about 200+ spots in half a year.

I think Dmitrov should get a WC, but probably won't need one. Having said that ...

He's probably better off qualifying. If he makes it through qualifying, that's 25 extra points. He has a one-third shot at facing a seeded player in the first round of the main draw, and even if that doesn't happen he could end up against someone like Del Potro. In most events, the 'marginal' or 'bubble' players are better of qualifying because it gives you more match experience and ranking points.
