Is it just me or is the 2.0 really slightly thicker than the 280/630s as shown above?? Can someone measure it to see if its really 20mm like the 280/630s??

I dont have anything to measure with at the moment, but I believe it was just the angle I took the photo from.

Haven’t tried it yet. Been playing x perience 17 and liked it as well. Have had a good experience with signum strings and thought the extra power might be nice based on reviews. Color looks cool which is 99% of it really

Firstly, where are all the detailed reviews?! You guys have had these sticks for days now?

And have we found its the ti radical mold? How was it different to the original? 1mm thicker beam?

I got mine yesterday and just cut strings out and strung it up with Klip Gut/Ghost Wire. Will be hitting tomorrow for about 2-3 hours then will post my initial experience.

Mine just arrived today. There’s no courts for me to play on atm so I can only hit against a wall. This frame feels super nice. I guess it has passed the wall test haha. Can’t wait to go out for a real hit with it. Also it probably the best looking racquet I own now.

A handful of summers ago I purchased 3 PT57A racquets for a total of $100. I have them each a hit and sold them for a large amount of money. One was painted like a Flexpoint Prestige and the other two were painted like ...... I’ll remember later.

They were all strung with what looked like Syn gut and I played great with the Flexpoint one. The other two felt terrible to me.

I then found some i.Prestige XL MP racquets I played good with but found them a bit cumbersome for doubles.

I’m itching to try these out but found the others to be string sensitive. I like my current racquet which is probably the least string sensitive racquet I’ve ever played.

I’m sure I’ll have two by the end of next week. Racquet addicts unite!!

My PT2.0 came in today and I hit the court for 3 sets of doubles an hour later. I have been playing the Angell TC95 and TC97 (both 18x20) for the past couple of years, including 3 sets of doubles last night. Tonight I needed no adjustment at all and I am pretty happy with the way I played.
I’ll need a few more outings and a softer string job to give it a good review. But as for now, I am initially very happy with the feel and performance right out of the box.

Ok so I couldnt wait until tomorrow, so I hit the courts under the lights for about an hour this evening. I wont go into detail until a real outing with the 2.0, but first impression is very positive. It does play softer than the 64-65 flex that it is rated. So if the flex is keeping you guys from ordering, do yourself a favor and try it out. One good thing is you will never lose your money if you decide it is not for you. I will also say that it has a nice "old-school" feel compared to most racquets released nowadays. That is something I was hoping for because I LOVE old-school feel. The stability is amazing at the net and even with a 18x20, I felt that enough spin was possible for my 45 year old self. Hope you guys all have the same experience.
I have a Head Finest Calfskin grip on the way finally, and several different strings to try over the next several weeks. Tonight I had it strung with Klip Gut mains @ 52lbs and Ghost Wire crosses @ 50lbs.

You can say it is 1000% wrong but it will not change anything. People are here to talk, no one is seeking your approval. Hope I don’t need to reply to you twice.
I suggest you get out of this thread and whine somewhere else because your inputs have nothing to do with the PT2.0, your inputs have nothing to do with facts (you never even tried the PT113) and you keep whining about the same thing that clearly makes no business sense for any company...

H22 is not the closest thing to the PT346...

Never played with 113B/PT346 - but just bought H22 (60RA) which is a bit flexier/more comfy version of Liquidmetal Radical MP. The pocketing of the ball is still better in Liquidmetal. Played also FlexPoint Radical MP (which bought new along G360+ Prestige MP) - and it is a bit different layup from Liquidmetal - flexier in the hoop. Also more powerful. So both Liquidmetal and Flexpoint aren’t too close in many areas.

All above rackts will be joined by Tour Pro 2.0 which I am going to get by FedEx later today for 2x2h matches this Thursday.

Also going to pick my 2019 best frames - IG Prestige MP/293.1, 291.2 and 260.5. So happy tennis is allowed in Warszawa since Monday. My first tennis since early February was one hour hitting with the coach. Played with my PT57A and I’ve played very bed. No legs. Thing got a bit easier once I picked up lighter 292.1.

Yeah, I'll take away your PT57As...they are not good :happydevil:
Can't wait for my next trip to Europe!

My PT2.0's came today. With stock strings, Karakal PU super grip, Tourna and luxilon dampener came to 346 grams. My head finest calf skin is 13g heavier than karakal. Aint trying to swing a 359gram racket with my troublesome elbow and wrist.
Will hit against a ball machine tomorrow and then string with my trusted 4g rough mains/ wilson sensation crosses when courts open. I'll review as soon as possible.

Looks good ! A friend of mine ordered one today. He fears the weight will be too much, I hope it too so I’ll take it haha

Mine should arrive today. It's also a nice day outside. Gonna be running so fast to one of my trusted walls... and then back to the comp to monologue to this odd community of nostalgic racquetaholics... :)
question to anyone who has theirs in-hand —

Does the PT 2.0 ship out of the TW SoCal or Georgia warehouse?

I think that depends where you’re located. I live in FL and mine shipped out of the GA location

My shipping label says Atlanta, Georgia (to Florida). Was shipped 2 days after ordering and arrived 2 days after that via UPS Ground.

The 2.0 is the prestige MP we have been wanting for some time now.

1) the cosmetics are beautiful

2) it’s not as flexible as the original but it is certainly comfortable to play with and the extra pop is nice for the modern game

3). The tighter 18x20 pattern has always been and continues to be my favorite to play with

4). Control and feel are both great with just the right amount of pop when you want to thump one

5) feels great at the net and on approach shots

Kudos to Head for putting these out. Really cool frames and they did a nice job with them in my opinion. Zero complaints
Got about an hour and a half of hitting in with it strung with Signum Firestorm 17 at 52lbs. Not sure Firestorm is the best poly for this frame but it felt good nonetheless. I've been swinging the Gravity Pro for awhile. Not as much free access to spin as the GPro, but much easier to step in and bang one if you want. Feel like my 2h BH is much better with the 2.0 and I didn't realize how much I missed the old Head grip shape until I picked it up again today

So who is going to be brave enough to take the pallets off and share with us what is underneath?
Mine was 12.2 oz and 6 pts HL stock.
Did a little tinkering and made it 12.8 oz and 9 pts HL (added lead to the handle and a leather grip)

Thanks for the information... oof, that's a lot of weight to get it to 9 pt HL.

Does not work that way.
the PT57A has the TK57 code on the hairpin.
the mold is the same. The layup is different.
Ok, gotchya. So whats the TK57 then on pallet? In general isn't the PT code made in Austria? Or am I off?

I’ve already received an answer from vsbabolat but is there someone else here who can confirm me that this racquet feel and play like a real PT57A ? :)
