Roger Federer can still play better tennis than any man on the planet, according to Tim Henman in 2011. Tim Henman said the following at the end of 2011 during the ATP Finals-- the year many agree is Djokovic's peakiest year ever -- after Fed beat and bageled Nadal 6-3, 6-0 at the year-end event:
'I still think that in the right type of conditions, Federer's best tennis is better than anyone else's in the world. When you look at the performance of Federer this week against Rafael Nadal - admittedly, Nadal wasn't at his best and it was on an indoor court which favours Federer - the score was 6-3, 6-0 and I have honestly never seen anyone play better.'
Henman is still being objective here, saying indoor hard court isn't Nadal's best surface -- but even so, Fed's game is undoubtedly better when each of them are at their peak, which shouldn't be a shock to anyone.
