I think this marathon match making the other 2 semifinalists wait will definitely favor Nadal. He is used to being in slam semis and finals (obviously) and has recent experience with both. Djokovic does not, not having made a slam semi in nearly two years. Rafa will cope better with this and be less bi-chy with the waiting.

Yes, matches won't go as long, but I don't like 5th set tiebreaks. It's so unfair to lose a match in a 5th set tiebreak. Imagine losing it 10-8 on the fifth.

Even the last set was brilliant up to 7 all or so. Amazing volleys, returns, passes, this match actually has everything. For the last half hour they have been running on fumes which is understandable and commendable for the effort too.
