You can't call that the best version of Novak. He was tired at the end of the season and after the Zverev match, as well as under huge pressure and the crowd made him a crying mess. If Medvedev can beat a fresh Djokovic in Australia, then I will say he has the edge. But otherwise no.

25 consecutive wins from 1R of French Open 2010 to the QF of Australian Open 2011.

I'd say 25 is pretty close to 26 @Madinolf a.k.a. Lew III knew exactly what he was doing by cutting off the list at (very) arbitrary points of 6 and 3..
