Has anybody seen the ad for the US open series in which Johnny Mac is playing the guitar while Rafa drives the truck? It is hilarious (Rafa's accent and John's outfit + speaking Spanish!)

I saw the Mac/Fed ad on ESPN today and thought it was hilarious. It is even more funny when you see how the commercial was revamped. I love the "scared?" addition.
It was very clever of the USTA to do this. Well done to Mac for jumping in and saving the campaign.
BTW, I'm not sure Fed would have done it the same way if Mac was the guy across from him at the time. He was talking to Gimel not Mac at the time.

Yeah, they are both good. Justin for looking sheepishly at Roger and saying 'My mom gave it to me' and then thanking him in a small voice when Roger gives it back to him. Mac for staring him down and saying 'I've had this since 1981! Wanna play me for it?!' The obvious editing and the glimpse of the white sleeve on the arm throw me off, but most tennis fans seeing this on TV won't catch it.

Yeah, it would be cool to see the originals. I wonder whether they'll make their way onto youtube at some point. I tried searching for them but couldn't find them at this point.

IMO, the ad with Fed was funnier with Gimelstob. I mean think about it, the line about asking Fed to compete for GOAT is hilarious with Gimelstob but sounds almost serious with John. On the other hand McEnroe is irresistible with his tatoo and loud singing in Nadal's ad. If it was me, I would have kept the John/ Rafa and the Justin/Roger. I actually understood why the Roger one was funny only after I saw the version with Gimelstob.

There's a glimpse of the Lindsay commercial and the complete Federer commercial in the link in this thread. We are missing the Nole commercial, the Nadal commercial, the Roddick commercial, and whatever it was that Justin did with the Snidely Whiplash mustache/goatee painted on his face (I have a picture of that somewhere from IW).
They will never be aired. I'm surprised the USTA has let them leak out at all.
There is no line with Justin and Roger playing for the mug. It's hilarious because Federer just looks at Justin and Justin gives him the mug, Federer takes pity on him and gives it back, to which Justin meekly says 'Really? Thank you...' He's a good foil, and a better actor than I thought.

Creatively edited and good of Mac to help out. Rafa's acting ability was the biggest surprise to me. He's good!
