If Nadal were to perform a clean sweep of the clay-court season, he'd-

-Break his record for most Masters 1000 titles won
-Be the first man to win a title 9 times (he'll do it at a slam, a Masters 1000 AND an ATP 500)
-Be the first man to win 4 titles at least 8 times (Roland Garros, Rome, Monte Carlo, Barcelona)
-Win a 14th slam, tying Sampras
-Break the record for most consecutive years of winning at least one major (10)
-First player to win 5 consecutive Roland Garros titles
-(Potentially) 66-1 record at Roland Garros (99% winning percentage)
-20 slam finals (2nd all time)

and much more.

Correct. It's the only thread on here some browsers don't let me into and on others I have to hit refresh to see. Deal with it :D We have a new thread now, agree with Octobrina, this one should be locked or something. No one is trying to have 2 threads, just one that isn't such a pain. I feel bad for some of you haters, you get upset at ANYTHING that has to do with Rafa.

Guys, you are making too big a deal about 1 new thread.
There IS clear problem with this thread, & that is, that it doesn't load in one go. You always have to refresh it again to be able to access it.
When you try to quote & post, again you have to enter twice after the first submit button takes you to a default "This web page has a redirect loop" page, and after second go, it says that you've just posted within last 30 seconds.

I know everyone faces this problem, so I don't know why you guys want to spend extra time just to be able to access this thread. This is why I even asked all Rafa fans opinion regarding creation of new thread, and the majority agreed that a new thread would be a good idea. Just go back a couple of pages in this thread and see for yourself.

No one is saying that this one should be deleted or something. What I would suggest is, to lock this one up, so that all the previous posts/ highlights etc can still be accessed. Or keep this one also open, so that people have option to use whichever one they want.

But the majority of Rafa fans are happy with the new thread. It's easier to post there and keep a tab on the relevant latest news without any hassle. Also, it's just a continuation of this one, as the name "Nadal news 2.0" implies.
So either get on board, or you're most welcome to keep using this one.

Exactly, plus, who goes back to the beginning and digs through this thing anyway? If it worked, great, but many people are sick of having to hit refresh to get in here. I mainly visit this thread for the highlight videos rafaisback makes, and current news. That can easily be done in the new thread with less hassle.
