I didn’t see any pictures or any confirmation on the zoom zero on the app. How do I find it?

Like Barricade stability or like Vapor X stability?

I am not familiar with barricade. But I’m comparing them right now. The vapor X is much lower to the ground. But the zoom zero is much more stable. And on the vapor X it is possible for an ankle roll. But with the vapor ask it is very hard to roll your ankle

Also in the mesh of the zoom zero it is much more durable compared to the vapor X x also in the mesh of the gym zero it is much more durable compared to the vapor X .

There is no area with large holes made for ventilation. So the breathability is poor. But there is ventilation throughout the shoe

For example the vapor x, has large holes in the toe box. The vapor 9.5 has small holes in the toe box. And the zoom zero has very small holes throughout the shoe, because upper is one peace.

Dunno if I'll be getting a pair right away, but I'll probably give them a try sometime soon. My backup pair of Barricade 2016's is wearing out quicker than I expected.

I'm getting a pair. Vapor 9.5s are balding so I need something ASAP. Vapor Xs don't work for me. I saw someone mention that these are cushier than the Vapor Xs, so that's a good sign. I'll report back with initial thoughts on Friday if I can get them overnight-ed to me on Thursday.

A higher above the ground standing shoe that is not built like a tank (like the Barricade) is more stable ( and it has an additional Zoom unit that contributes to the shoe being stable)?
Hmmmm.
Is that physically possible? Can you build a tractor that will corner as well as a sport car? I would think any show with a higher center if gravity will be outperformed in terms of stability by one that sits lower based on simple physics.

shoe launched today so you're gonna have to wait to get feedback on that...
I do have the thick ASO braces I will probably try on above the shoes. I did not have much trouble wearing the braces with Cage 3s, so I suspect I won't have too much trouble as well.
Haven't had much need to wear the braces as I haven't done any super aggressive moving on the court that would warrant wearing my braces.

Yes it is. Full length air. Vapor & Cage have rear Zoom Air units only. React has front & rear Zoom Air units. This is the only one that has it throughout the midsole.
Rafa wears custom shoes, so it really doesn't matter if the standard shoe only has it in the rear. Could be that's the line they want to sell the most.

The shoe just launched to the general public, so most of us don't know. TW states in their First Look video that these seem to hold up in their playtest. Mileage may vary.

@atatu, The shoe is a little difficult to get on. I would imagine it would be pretty tough to get it on with an ankle brace due to the half bootie/tongue design does not offer a lot of give. However, we haven't tried it ourselves so can't say 100%.
@Nostradamus, There will be more colors launching around US Open time and a couple more towards the end of the year.
@2ndServe We can't comment officially on durability yet as we are only a weekish into our playtest. We should have a better idea in a week or two.

Just received them. Tried on with my McDavid 195 ankle brace (same as ASO) and it is very, very difficult (ie nearly impossible) to fit everything in even after loosening up the laces — and I have skinny little ankles. The inner bootie is the problem, as anticipated above. An ankle sleeve may be possible, but even that would be tight, as the whole point of the shoe’s bootie is to be tight and supportive. I suffered a bad ankle sprain off the court a few weeks ago so hope to eventually get out of the brace. I think this shoe would work well for me at that point as it does feel more stable and supportive around the ankle and base.
I only have experience with Vapor 9.5 and X. The Zoom Zero does sit a bit higher off the ground but does feel cushier. The upper material is disappointing imo: feels and looks almost like canvas with no significant signs of ventilation holes/construction. Hey it will be a great fall tennis shoe...
Will get on the court with them once I recover completely from the ankle sprain. Despite the above shortcomings, I have high hopes for the cushioning and comfort (sans ankle brace).
Oh one more thing: sizing seems closer to Vapor 9.5 than the X ie the X runs a bit smaller and I had to size up a half size for that shoe.

What size did you wear in the Vapor 9.5? And in the Vapor X? And it sounds like you go the Zeros in the Vapor 9.5 size?

Sorry I wasn’t being clear: Vapor 9.5 was size 8, Vapor X was size 8.5.
Btw, the lacing on this Zoom Zero is much easier to use than the X, which was horribly difficult to tighten (hard to describe, but if you have the X you’ll know what I’m talking about).

His shoes are customized for his feet. Plus nike is using Rafa's image to sell more Cage 3's.

The Air Zoom Challenge II was the single most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. If reviews compare the 'walking on pillows' sensation the AZC II had, I may have to buy a pair for everyday use.That Tennis.com article is maddening, I’ll keep saying this over and over, the Air Zoom Challenge II from 1997 had a single full length zoom air unit. I guess they are just saying that for marketing hype.

just received my pair. not a fan of all black shoes but im too impatient to wait for other colorways. in hindsight, i should have bought the womens colorway and gone up in size.
i went the same size as the vapor 9.5. fit is right on. bootie feels soft around your foot. not difficult to get the shoe on.
definitely higher ride height than the vapors but thats to be expected with the full length zoom. cant wait to try them out on the court.
heel to toe transition is very smooth. no heel slip which is probably my biggest pet peeve with tennis shoes.
