I really don't like Murray but if I had to say whose game I don't like the most I would probably say Monfils. Monfils can play a very good game but I think he plays too much junk...

Oops, I misread the poll and voted for Hewitt, who is my favorite player.

I probably like Nadal the least because of (1) all of the time he takes between points and (2) all of his phantom 'injuries' that he (or his camp) uses as a crutch when he loses. I don't have a problem with his game or anything like that though, and it's not as if I can't stand him or anything. He just has a couple of annoying traits to me.

i hate murray because hes a pusher and hes extremely boring to watch. And besides his on court antics are annoying. I dont like hewitt as well for the same reasons.

The facts of this episode have already been explained to you in another thread. The umpire made the call, Gonzalez accepted it with respect, Blake made a scene. The situation is clear as day, end of story. But don't let facts stop you from bashing Gonzalez in every thread for the next month or so.

He actually hits some pretty good groundstrokes and has some nice baseline rallies, some of which he WINS, in this video, against Federer no less. He even hits a non-slice backhand winner! Sometimes, he doesn't even serve and volley in this video.

Good point.
Gloating and insults from fans can put you off a player but I try not to let it get in the way of my own personal opinions.
I don't have any real dislike for any player anymore.
I like Murray and it's sad to see so many people 'hate' him because I think he is misunderstood, and I can understand, at face value, why people choose to dislike him but there's a lot going on underneath the surface.
There's a disturbing amount of built up rage from his childhood due to parents troubled relationship and subsequent divorce. This was the biggest influence on his life and tennis was an escape from that trauma. And the Dunblane massacre, that was so traumatic, he's just tried to completely erase it out of memory but an event like that has to be lurking somewhere in the subconscious and who knows what effect that has had.
I think he is a good person at heart though and for me, the most fascinating player. There's so much potential, expectation and pressure you just don't know where it's all going to go.

I agree w/ you on both counts. I actually like Murray, but some of his fan's incessant hyping of him (talking to you maximo) leaves a sour taste in my mouth, more than any of the comeons or other stuff he does. It's ok to wish your player success, but not at the incessant and childish level maximo was at during Wimbledon. I think that most of the dislike for Murray has to do w/ the hype surrouding him from fans, british media,etc, and the stuff like come ons which others do as well (i.e. Nadal) gets magnified more b/c of the dislike people already have for him
