Since I am a Rafa fan; I sort of feel obligated to possibly buy this racquet when it come out! I never had a modern racquet before so; this should be interesting to see how I do with it, if I do get it; that is!

I am not a fan of the twisting logo on the throat of the racquet. It worked for the PD; not so much for this one. I do like the color way. Looks like a bumble bee.

Just not a fan of the more open string pattern compared to the APDs.
Ended up with the Pure Strike for (mostly) that reason after a short failed stint with the PAT.

How so? The writer is a Babolat Ambassador and received this racket before anyone. Nadal will max use this racket by the USO or maybe even before. Nadal is a player with the least mods on his racket from any top player. He doesn't even have a personal stringer like all the other top players. He will be using this frame.

Rafa will be force to use this racquet because Babalot said to Mannarino that they do not have anymore noncortex racquets in their inventory stores. Unless Rafa has additional racquets that he has taken back to Babalot for PJs, Rafa may be using the same as “retail”!

Babolat is one of the few companies that doesn't have to do heavy mods on their frames and players are using pretty much what you see. The new Pure Aero plays a lot like the Pure Drive. That's what Nadal wanted as well. Have zero time for trolling you or anyone else, amigo.

Rafa is using the original AeroPro Drive from 2005. Babolat is just as bad as all the other companies. What you are saying was true 13 years ago but not anymore. Very few of the Babolat Pros are really using what they are painted as. Most Pure Drive players are using Pure Drive’s with active cortex and woofer grommets. Most Pure Aero players really using AeroPro Drive’s with active cortex and the old woofer grommets from the last generation.
