On a scale of 10 to 10, 10 being stunning.

On a scale of 0 to 23, I would say 23/23.

Well it brought balance to the universe after Nadal won the AO22 which he didn't deserve in the first place.

It was alright.

In the mens the first three rounds were pretty good, but it took a serious dip after that with pretty much every major matchup disappointing. I think the only real highlights of the last four rounds were Etcheverry/Nishioka set 1 and Etcheverry/Zverev. Maybe throw Djokovic/Khachanov in there as well.

The womens was better, with two classics in the last two rounds, that Beatriz/Sorribes match, Sabalenka/Stephens, the Svitolina run, the Haddad Maia run, Andreeva breaking out etc. If Rybakina hadn't pulled out who knows what might have been.

Maybe a 7 out of 10. The first week would rate higher with many 5-setters, but not many good matches in the 2nd week.

I watched the worst Djokovic I've seen since 2010 win a French Open for the loss of just 2 sets. I don't know how to score that.
Really? He played 6 TB with over 60 points and didn't make one single unforced error.

If 2013 Djokovic had 2023 Djokovics clutchness, he would be at 4-5 RG titles by now.

Not nearly the same thing. Injuries are part of the sport. Getting the best player banished is part of vulturing.
It's ok. AO 2022 was never supposed to happen where the best player was banned from playing so the tennis gods corrected that mistake with RG 2023, so Djokovic still had more career Slams. :D

He played 7 RG finals, Borg who is second best on clay for most people has played 6 and never faced Nadal.

There was only one possible classic match that could've happened.

The possible classic match happened, but only lasted for two real sets.

Exactly. I think a 75% Nadal would have easily beaten Djokovic this year.

The main challenger flopped physically, but ASA result no-one can deny that Djokovic was simply the best player of the tournament.

But the competition was scrarce and with that entertainment on the second week was a bit underwhelming on the men's side. I'd score it 5 to 6 out of 10. The women's tournament was slightly better this time.

The 2023 clay Masters winners greatly underperformed:

#1 seed 2023 Madrid champion Alcaraz: Suffered cramping in SF after the 2nd set.
#2 seed 2023 Rome champion Medvedev: Crashed in five (after going up 2-1) to #172 Wild in 1st round
#7 seed 2023 Monte Carlo champion Rublev: Lost in five (after winning 1st two sets) to #48 Sonego in 3rd round

It would be fair to list the draw he faced

Varillas
Ailing Alcaraz
Khachanov
Ruud
Fuscovics
Fokina

It would be fair to note that Alcaraz wasn't ailing going into his match and certainly looked superhuman after 2 sets.

Semi-Pro
The Final was a bit of a non-event, really. Ruud needed that first set but didn't have the nerves to close it out after taking a healthy lead. From there it was inevitable.

The much anticipated semi-final against Alcaraz lasted for two sets before cramps got the better of the Spaniard.

I didn't see much of the early rounds because of work. There was some good tennis played as always, but not a classic tournament, other than history being made.

Men’s side I said prior to the tournament that only one match mattered. We did get that match for 2 sets. What happened around those two sets was meh at best. But at least it did happen, as devastating as it was to see cramps halt it just as it rose to its zenith.

Witnessing history was cool, and Djokovic did prove me wrong. I just wish someone with a bit more moxie and firepower than Ruud had shown up to test him.

I will say this: what Muchova brought to the tournament, beginning in the first round defeat of Sakkari to the miraculous 3rd set vs Sabalenka and near-comeback vs Iga, should not be taken for granted. She delivered and took it directly to the two best players in the world, and did so in a way that electrified the crowd. Really hope she can build on this.

Once again, your jinx attempt worked.

pretty bad on the mens side, and on the women's side, Iga cruised but had a very tough final so that alone made it a little better
