I just think people in general expect too much from him. Mostly because of the era that is just ending. It's ok to have an era where many players can be Slam contenders.
Well, I think GOAT talk and reducing everyones career to how many slams they're going to win is definitely the most idiotically brainless discourse, and pretty much what this forum has been reduced to.

But I do also pretty reasonably think he's the most complete 20-year-old tennis player there's ever been that has actually managed to channel that completeness into some kind of significant success.

The truth, as usual, is somewhere in the middle of the cynicism and the deifying.

PATHETIC from Carlitos. Novak will eat him alive, if Carlos even gets to the SF.
Dude underperforms when it matters.
How about the breadstick he just dished out?

2 sets ending in 6-1, 6-1, one lost set ending in 3-6

Not too bad. Remember that Novak drops his intensity quite a lot at this age.

You guys realize Djokovic has these walkabout sets as well right?

This is in reference to some on here preficting an easy win for Djo if they play.
He has lost the opening set of the last 4 big RG matches of his career (RG 22 Nadal, RG 21 Tsitsipas, RG 21 Nadal, RG 20 Nadal) and looked flat in basically every single one

And at 36 intensity is almost impossible to sustain for that long. Obviously Rafa had some big time dips last year.

Djokovic is far from the bulletproof terminator that he is described as on here. People act like he is infallible and never makes mistakes

We are close to Shapo vs Alcaraz in 3rd round. Could be a great match.

Potential there. I was on the Shapo train for a while, but I got left at the station finally, haha.....we shall see. I think it's going to take a lot to take out CA, but there are a few who can do it. Hopefully we continue to see some compelling tennis.

It’ll be a cr*pfest. It’s Shapo FFS.
Winning back to back rounds on clay is already an abnormality for him, could be one of those tournaments where everything is clicking, that said, i havent watched him play yet

Daniel looks like he's given up now, but he did really well to keep fighting right up till that last game, and Alcaraz did a really good job keeping him at bay. Dude will need to step up big time in the next round against a potentially (very great emphasis on 'potentially') tricky opponent, but this performance should give him the push to do so.
