feddie is going to have a heart attack - expect 20 photos of this kid posted in the next week
I know! It’s going to be a calamity. The kid is good, number 1 line up player for sure….but who’s to say how he will do in college tennis where he will be playing players as good or even better than him

I've heard that they ITA is going to cancel the season if Banerjee indeed joins Stanford. There will be no point in playing. Kind of like when Axel G., the 2017 Wimbledon Championships Boys' Doubles champion, the 2017 Wimbledon Championships Boys' Singles finalist, and the 2017 US Open Boys' Singles finalist, and then No. 1 ranked junior player joined Stanford.

ok, bad example, but still...... ;)

And Congrats to Fery for reaching both singles and doubles final in a tournament with very tough 4 day format. GO Card

Shelton routined Holmgren in ITA AA finals - while he might not have any chance of playing top 4-5 at UF, this Fery kid seems okay, certainly better than Geller

he won a round then went three sets with the guy who made the QF of the US Open in his first GS qualies appearance (van de Zandschulp, currently ranked 60, ahead of Griekspoor) - but like I said, Fery tries hard and has a good attitude, good kid, could probably be a hitting partner for someone on tour someday

Fery is the future wimbledon champion, he will follow in footsteps of Andy Murray.

Stumbled across this while looking for Bruch. Looks like he's doing just fine. A few here may find this very interesting starting with Feddie and Bob. Wall Street's Tennis Players (businessinsider.com)

some of the pro-ams that occur among finance executives and the tennis aces among their employees, out on some snazzy courts in the Hamptons, are legendary

forget the pressure of college tennis, how about the pressure of winning your boss bragging rights (and maybe yourself a raise or promotion) in his yearly pro-am weekend :)

a DC-area executive related to the founding of JTCC used to tell a story of one such pro-am pro (who had previously played in Wimbledon and such major events) getting tight during a match on some fancy backyard Hampton’s court, someone from the crowd yelling out ‘hey! it’s not Wimbledon!’ and the former pro sternly replying ‘nowadays, this event is my Wimbledon’

Way to go Tristen Boyer. One more round and he qualifies for the champaign challenger. Lots of tough tour players in this tournament.

Well that is no surprise, we all know Stanford players can't play 2 days in a row--it's too taxing on them physically. Boyer lost to Keegan Smith who recently won a Futures and has seemingly made a full recovery from his head injury earlier in the year.

with Keegan Smith rounding back into form and Giron and McDonald and Jenn Brady ripping it up on tour, it’s pretty clear where you should go on the west coast if you’re looking to become a pro - but Stanford is a solid option as well, for those wanting to go into the tech / finance worlds, or become hitting partners for UCLA pros, or land a country club coaching job where you teach winning 3.5 ladies doubles

even if you suffer massive head trauma while at UCLA you end up better than your Stanford counterparts, such is the detrimental impact of The Farm

You're cherry-picking data, omitting the French Open titles of Matt Bruch and the top 10 ATP rankings of several recent Stanford grads.

since Feddie has been following the Champaign challenger, he will be happy to know that Shelton took down seeded Blaz Rola (ATP rank 181) in the main draw today

..and Max Cressy (current Live ATP ranking #122), who went to UCLA, and who got to the finals of a Challenger in France last week is into the quarters of another Challenger in France this week. Didn't see any present of former Stanford players in either draw...

Rostaert's current ranking has him tied for #1822, and that won't be going up after his loss today to a player ranked #767 in one of the tour's lowest level pro events--a 15K Futures. The highest ranked player in the tournament is Ray Sarmiento, who played at USC and is ranked #501 and spends most of his time these days as a hitting partner to a WTA player. Wasn't Alex yet another one of players Fedace/Nostradamus said would be top 10 ATP? He turned pro some time ago and has done nothing--time for him to get a real job like all the other former Stanford tennis players since the Bryan brothers.

Rotsaert is still on the Stanford team; not a pro yet.

Dartmouth and Baylor college grad Charlie Broom defeated Stanford Fresher Max Basing 6-1,7-5 at the LTA’s 2021 Winter County Cup, Stanfords Arthur Fery defeated Auburn’s Will Nolan 6-4, 6-2. This is a UK tournament, at which the different counties play each other in a three day event. Not surprisingly many college players past, present and future are selected to represent their county. The competition is taken very seriously, indeed the Murray brothers have played this event in the past .

Stanford should win the ITA kickoff weekend at UCF in Orlando to make the final 16. They should be at least slight favorites in the early season matches in Palo Alto vs. USC, UCLA and Cal, as well as the January matches. Lots of home matches there. Could be undefeated until sometime in the final 16 at the National Team Indoors.
