Maybe I'm looking at TTW in an alternate dimension, but he gets bashed plenty here, especially this whole year.

He's become so irrelevant over the past 6 months or so that he isn't even worthy of a mention. He got plenty of criticism earlier in the year. Now, people barely even remember that he's around. Same thing with FAA. You can criticize the first handful of times they go out early in a tournament. Once it becomes the norm, why even bother talking about it?

I just don’t think anyone cares about him. We all wonder how he’s won as much as he has. Like I mentioned in a thread, he may need to learn a two-handed backhand. Even if he doesn’t, the tennis world will move on without really noticing him.

I think Tsitsipas is in "mid career crisis" where he is slowly realizing that he will never be what he dreamed. He wanted to emulate Federer(probably from the childhood) with one handed backhand, attacking, fluid first-strike tennis, being good looking with loads of sponsors and being as popular as Roger was. He says(at least it's on Wikipedia) that grass is his favorite surface when it's obviously not, but he said it because Wimbledon is cool(most prestigious) and he wants/wanted to be cool like his idol, Roger Federer.
After some beatings he received in recent years from Medvedev, Djokovic and most recently Alcaraz, he's realized that he'll never be "the guy" on tour. His fate, in the end will probably be similar to that of Cilic, Thiem, Del Potro(i know these three have won a slam, but still...), Dimitrov, Berdych, Nishikori, Nalbandian, Tsonga, Ferrer... Remembered in history, but more as a footnote, not as an all time great he envisioned, expected himself to be.
I think Novak took a part of his soul by beating him in that fashion in RG 21 final. Leading by 2 sets to love, and yet, in the end, nowhere near close to the victory. Stopped his momentum and took some of his confidence in his abilities forever. And Novak did it again now in AO 23 final - stopped his momentum. Tsitsipas is very emotional, it really takes him time to get over tough losses. Alcaraz is going to be his next boogeyman after Novak retires(already is, actually), and after that more young talented players will appear probably and it will get harder and harder to compete for the top.
Tsitsipas is relatively disappointed with his career so far, i bet he expected far more accomplishments but it didn't happen. He could slowly just give up( "quiet quitting") and slowly stop taking competition/tennis so seriously and just play for the sponsors, exciting lifestyle, entertainment, travelling, partying... - Dimitrov style.
