The reason why Federer had the toughest competition!

1.He was always the favourite and even when not, he was always under most pressure. He was also going for history and breaking records always, it's so much tougher under such pressure. Even when he is the underdog all people are talking about him, so Fed had much tougher pressure than Nadal and Djokovic.

2.Being the older guy and the most successful, players know they have nothing to lose playing him. No shame losing to the greatest player, so they usually all play 100%. That's why the field tries much harder versus Federer than they try versus the rest.

not to forget that
  • his opponents always get preferential scheduling
  • always has the crowd against him, he's like Real Madrid playing on Camp Nou wherever he goes.
  • questionable wet bulb readings in his disfavor

How do you get to the conclusion that him being older and most successfull renders players into thinking they have nothing to lose so they always Give 100% (where does it say that players in general don't give 100% no matter who they play?).

You just posted opinions as facts.
