This is criminal from Chelsea. The only thing I can say about Sarri's first season here is that he has turned Chelsea into Arsenal.

Poor performance against Athletic Bilbao as it ends 0-0. It's still six points between us and second, though that second team are Real Madrid now. And with our next two away games being against Sevilla and them, this race for La Liga could become very tight. For our sake I hope we don't allow that...

City were not holding back. I didn't think Chelsea would be having this much of a struggle after they started the season on a pretty positive note. Maybe Manchester United fancy their chances of registering a rare win at Stamford Bridge soon...

Mid December:

4th Chelsea: 37 points, +21 goal difference
5th Arsenal: 34 points, +14 goal difference
6th Man United: 26 points, 0 goal difference

Now:
4th Man United: 51, +17
5th Arsenal: 50, +16
6th Chelsea: 50, +16

Don't let go of this now, boys...

Says the man that doesn't even want Ole here. Wouldn't it be better for United to lose?

Will you watch the PSG-Man U match?
Hopefully the French players in Man U will deliver :D

I wish for a Pogba show!!

Saw an interview w Ole where he talks about when he and his son saw Man U drew PSG and thought it was a tough draw.
Now we are here. What an insane climb everything. What’s just so wonderful is to see the joy the players show, the team spirit. The love.
Inspirational. Been taking my focus away from tennis what’s happening in football.

Oh yeah, I'll be watching. Very excited. Optimistic that United will progress.

Gary Neville believes Liverpool can only win if they have a lead going into the run in.

When Liverpool have dropped points recently it is due to them not being quite as good as they were

Liverpool need to beat United if they want to win the title. If they manage to do that I see them lifting the trophy.

The players are allowed to breathe under Ole.

Starting team is what I would have gone for.

De Gea, Young, Bailly, Lindelof, Shaw, Pogba, Matic, Herrera, Lingard, Rashford, Martial

I wouldn't want to see a red card but this game is heading in that direction. :p

Not much to talk about, I think they were evenly matched in the 1st half. Paris' two chances were created from offside.

Told you so. Kimpembe was asking for trouble of times as well.

No Neymar and Cavani but it was a pretty stacked midfield. Combined with all the pace and agility they still have, PSG gave themselves a big advantage. Poor defending from Manchester for the first goal but that was surgeon-like precise move for the second. Superior team clearly.

Obviously it's not totally over but I imagine Manchester will focus on the upcoming Chelsea and Liverpool games more. There is still something to fight for domestically.

At least I knew there was a legit possibility of this happening. The elimination against Sevilla from last year still hurts.

Time to bounce back in England. Some of the rivals coming up aren't any less vulnerable.

Since I don't see us coming back in Paris, I hope Neymar returns for PSG in the quarterfinals. Wouldn't want such a player missing big games for two seasons in a row.
The difference between playing the likes of Bournemouth and PSG :X3:
Yep.

And PSG know the massive difference between domestic opponents and European elite better than anyone. :p

PSG could join that European elite very soon, who knows. They got a tough draw immediately in the previous two seasons, being on the receiving end of our La Remontada and also going out against holders Real. There is always some experience to be gained from any big game. Some say teams like them or City "don't have history" in Europe, but I don't see that being the case for much longer. Obviously their policies won't gain a lot of fans but they are in a better position to write history than some of the great past clubs with history who are nowhere to be seen right now...

In the other game tonight, Porto have scored away from home and it ended 2-1 for Roma. All to play for in the 2nd leg, I would love to see the Portuguese go through. Yes, even though I am very self-critical, I can also hold a grudge. :p
