TW Map?

I think a map with the locations of all members who wish to be located would be a great idea. This used to be possible through the now-defunct Frappr site, but I've been told that it could be accomplished through Google Maps with a little knowledge of script.

Does anyone else think that this is a good idea?

Added: Pin your home court location on the map: (Gmail ID required)
http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF&msa=0&msid=213166334046722441379.0004ae1a09ca0c6165f8a

TO ADD LOCATION: (DD edit)
I figured it out. click the Edit button on the left, and then right click the spot that you want to place yourself and click "Add a placemark".

Edit: In case of privacy issues, please pin location of your home courts instead of your residence.

I'm under witness protection program, but I play at Conard HiSchool in West Hartford occasionally. Incognito.

Someone I went to high school with taught tennis at Fernridge Park. He's staking out Conard, looking for you, right now

So... how do I put one of those blue pins?

The satellite images have improved incredibly in my area. I placed myself on court 2 at our home courts (at the net, of course).

You also need to be logged in with a Google account (Gmail's just fine)

 No kidding! I just looked up our club...and dang if there aren't people on-court. I looked for my car in the parking lot or my tennis bag on-court but couldn't find it. Based on the shadows (and the fact that the pool is open but fairly empty), I'm guessing it was taken somewhere between 9:30am and 10:15am. All the shade is gone on Court 1 by the 10:30am time slot. The players are changing sides so they're not during one of the court time changes.

Can't add myself...as I have no google (or FB or twitter) acct. How 20th Century am I?

A buddy of mine just sent me a Google maps link to his neighborhood tennis courts and there we both are on court in the photo. Neither of us saw the Google car go by.

Bump for the MAP. If you have a Google ID, add the location of your home courts.
