What is your grip setup?

I know this may seem a bit of a fiddly subject but why not

For example, My Grip Setup is:
Main Grip: Head Finest Calfskin
Overgrip: 2x Wilson Pro OG
Start Point: 1 o'clock
Stretch:Stretch the first one, not on the one on top

Start point is where on the buttcap do you star the grip of, so the ridges fit in between your fingers or under them or whatever.

Stretching and Non-Stretching can make a surprisingly big difference.
Stretching your overgrip while you wrap it makes it thinner, less wider and spreads the tackiness around so it is more smooth.

Feel free to post your "setup"

Nope. My hand doesn't sweat much, so I guess that helps. I find the leather to be really tacky.

Hmm. That's interesting. Other than a match I saw of Gasquet vs. Federer from 2005, I've never seen anyone play with just bare leather. Anyways, if it works for you, then that's all that matters.

Main- Head Leather
Overgrip- Gamma Grip 2, but also testing Supergrap & Duratac.
Stretch- My racquet tech installs my leather, but I pull my overgrips pretty tight.
Start- Bevel where your knuckle is for continental forehand grip.

Holy moly. What's your experience with Gamma Grip 2? When I tried this grip it died on me within a few minutes. It's very absorbent but I found the durability to be lacking.

I really like how thin it is. It really doesn't take away from the feel of the main grip. Which is something I didn't care for with the Supergrap. To me it was too thick. It's really personal preference.

Out of curiousity what do you find the gauze layer adds? Does it just stop the not so tightly wrapped overgrip from slipping or similar?

Gamma or TW leather grip + Tournagrip or Supergrap

Rather than stretch the leather as I wrap it, I flatten it using a roller before applying.

I put a Wilson Sponge Grip on my Prestiges. It feels awesome.

On the PSLs, I use the stock leather grip (Babolat), and put a blue Yonex SuperGrap on top of it. I stretch it a little, but not much. Next overgrip I will stretch more, just to keep the grip from getting too big.

Agustin Calleri also used just a leather.

the grips slip less and I kind of do it so that I can flip the overgrips over and use the other side to save money. but I haven't used it quite long enough with those "loose" overgrips to have a very definitive answer for you
