Virginia has 1 loss to Wake (4-2)
Wake has 1 loss to Ohio State (4-3)
Ohio State has 3 losses to Virginia (4-1), Texas (4-3), and Texas A&M (4-3)
North Carolina has 2 losses to Virginia (4-0) and Wake (4-3)
Baylor, USC, Texas, Oklahoma State, ...

How would you vote if you were on the USTA panel?

Here's my vote:

1. Wake
2. UVA
3. Ohio State
4. UNC
5. Texas

Comments:

• Wake's had tougher opponents than the other teams, they have a head-to-head win over the team everyone thought was the best in the country, and their only loss was a 4-3 thriller against Ohio State. They're the real deal.
• UNC's two losses are more impressive than Ohio State's 3 losses, BUT their best win is still Cal or Georgia, and Ohio State still has that win over Wake (who is the real deal) and Oklahoma State.
• I honestly didn't know who to slot in to #5. Too confusing after the top 4. Glad I'm not on the panel.

unc will not be very high in the Rankings before ncaas...they just sit on #10 or sth like that...no big wins...

UVA because their loss to WF was without Sodelund in the lineup.

how can Baylor be #3 ...this ranking is crap....
USC beeing #5 i do not see it either...

it seems both have only 2 or 3 big wins, some losses to Teams behind them...and a good record Overall..but is this enough for beeing #3 and #5 ?
