I think Wilander see a bit of himself in Djokovic when it comes to playing style. He knows he was not able to play like Federer but he can relate to Djokovic and that's why he makes statements like this.

Yes Stan played really well in this match.Another thing to be noticed is that in 2014-2016 period Stan is the only player who not only troubled Djokovic at Slams but defeated him in 3 out of their 4 their meetings there.Djokovic always have problems with him at GS.Remember AO 2013 epic match and AO 2015 and US Open 2013 - he won these matches but it wasnt easy at all.
