I know the commentators need a job on T2 tennis channel but the commentary distracts from the live match. It’s like they’re yaking so they can hear them selves talk. Incessantly they talk on topics that have no relevance at all to the match. I don’t see any value in this amped up commentary. Super annoying.
One of my favorite things to read on TTW, are all of the stories by league captains on how they try their best to navigate league rules, appease players, while just trying to have fun playing tennis. I started tennis in my late 40s and really do enjoy it. Tennis has provided me an awesome outlet for exercise and socializing with adults that I did not meet at work or through attending kid functions.
I saw one of your post were you had mentioned about using SKOG Bands in tennis tutor throw wheels. Tried this and this doesn't seems to be working as the band expands and makes sound while rotating. Do we have to stick them to the wheels? Can you please share photos of yours if possible? My email ID is santoshpoornaraj@gmail.com
Hi Pete, you are my first post on this site. Never done this before. I'd been playing every day of my life between age 12 and about 55. used to just about live on the courts - 6 to 8 hours a day. I have strung professionally for about seven years. All of this so I believe that I know a little bit about tennis. The key - "fixative spray."
Hi. I had a customer bring me a Pure Drive 110 and the grommet set for the racquet. Unfortunately, I'm having some trouble installing it as it seems the grommet holes and the holes on the frame do not line up. Any suggestions on how to make the process easier? I've tried using a heat gun with little success.
I'm using a gut/poly hybrid. I have been using Luxilon Element 16L which plays the best of all the ones I've tried. I usually string at 48/45. The Element plays well but it only lasts about 4-5 hours of doubles before it stops snapping back. Since I got a bunch of sets for $9.00 each I can't complain. Which Tru Pro poly and which gauge would match up well as a replacement for Element 16L? Thanks!
Hi! I'm curious to know if you ever found a good replacement for your Head Radical MP LiquidMetal? I'm stuck trying to find a replacement. Best regards, Nikolai
Hi. I have a Babolat star 5 and my machine just gave me an error code 5 While I’m stringing for a wta tournament. I can’t get it to restart or to pull anymore. Any advice as to how to fix the problem or do I need to send it in.
Please let me know.
Thank you,
Michael W
Hi. We are the USA/Canada distributors. I tested the contact form on the manufacturer website, spinfiresport.com, and it does work. Their email is info@spinfiresport.com. If your inquiry is for the USA or Canada market, please email me at leon@spinfireusa.com as we rarely monitor this forum but just happened to log on today.
@atatu, I wanted to let you know that I started a team last year with ATL with players in my HOA. This season, Onion Creek has three (3) ATL teams competing out of their club with instead of USTA. I would be awesome to get more HOAs that have local tennis courts to form teams and compete.
Hi Wes, I wanted to share something on a previous topic but I can't find it. Are some topics removed from the forums? I remember you asked about the new Tourna stringing machines 550-ES, 175-CS when I'd posted about them, but can't find that thread in the forums. Anyway, Tourna said they'd hopefully be in stock in March.
Hey Valerie, just wanted to touch base to see how your setup search for your Percept 100D is going? I responded to your post on the thread to hopefully help you with your search. Curious though what your prior racket/string combo you were using and what was the impetus was to make the switch?
Hello Michael,
I have seen that you speak very positive about dyreex strings and especially their multis. I ordered some sets to try and I am thinking of doing some hybrids with perfect touch and spiral in the mains and some slick polys in the crosses (fibermax pro and whisper). Do you think it's a good idea or they are too soft and the poly will saw into them quickly?
Best Regards
Hi Tornes, I have really enjoyed reading your work about peak, prime, post prime ages of players careers and how it impacts on results historically. I was wondering if you could update your work with new images because the links seem to have expired.
Kind Regards,
Silentchimera
Good evening sir, I'm messaging you in regards to the DR 98 I just purchased from you. You told me yesterday that you would provide me with a shipping label. I have asked for it multiple times to no avail. I need a shipping label or I will be taking action to get my money back.
Hi
As I see you were able to help with head pro codes some time ago, but now it’s impossible?
Is it still possible to find such info somewhere? Cause I owned a Gravity frame with some code on the throat and wondering who was using it.
Thanks in advance

Hi TripleB—I saw that after a lot of testing you were settling on Kirschbaum Evolution. How was that in a full bed? I'm comparing to Tourna Big Hitter Silver 1.25, which I like but find to be quite firm. Tossing up now between Big Hitter Blue vs Kirschbaum Evolution. Would appreciate insight from your experience playing them.
@Gamma Tech I have a 6500ELS and the tension adjustment knob is stuck very tight. Upon removing the cover, I noticed there is a long threaded screw attached to the tension knob with a plate on it and a spring with a hex screw at the end. Despite using WD40 around the plate, I have had no luck in getting the threaded rod to turn through it. Can you help me rectify the issue?
Hope all is well. I saw that you own a Babolat Star 4 machine and Albert was able to help you fix the machine. I am having the same issue with my machine as the tension head does not move. I was wondering if you know the name of the transformer you bought years ago to fix the machine. Worse comes to worse I may consider buying your machine for spare parts. Thanks
