1 year older though.Zverev is 2 years older than Tsitsipas and hasn't beaten anybody noteworthy in a major.
Umpire didn't ask any line person.

Yep.
And I got roasted for calling it.
So has Zverev. Although Zverev struggled against a sea of mugs to get there.Don't think so. I don't think Tsitsipas will win double digit GS or anything, but I do think he's better than Zverev. He's already made a major QF for one thing, lol.
Can’t agree with you on Tsitsipas, has easily as much talent as any of the other young players that I can see and a decent tactical brain to match. If you want overhyped, take a look at Denis...
Always beware the young gun in a slam R16, even when GOAT on a favorite court...Wimby’01 all over again. History repetes on fedr like a pizza with extra onions and pepperers.
Tsits with a great game plan and the skill set and wheels to pull it off...get in, get in, get in! Congrats!
Tsitsipas was good, but Federer was nowhere near his level from last AO. It was his match to lose. And all it take is solid performance from Tsitsipas.
He wasnt playing that great at IW either. He should have lost to Coric.Yep.
And I got roasted for calling it.
Nah not seeing double digit. But a great career. So early to say though. A lot of potential, and still a diamond in the rough. A LOT of upside. Where will he take it?
Now, do I stay up for Sloane-Pav or try to sneak in two hours sleep (rhetorical)? I
This whole this is what tennis needs anytime fed loses is annoying as if he has been winning left and right
In other words, Djokovic continues to have this opportunity after already having it for the past 5 years.Yep. Future is not quite here yet, Fed at 37 is at least a rank or two more vulnerable to being beaten by the youngsters. I think we’ve all said it, next 1 or 2 years is Djokovic’s opportunity to hoover slams and break Fed’s record.
I see him having a better career than Zverev. His FH is so much better than Zverev's. That's huge. Both are still young so I could be totally wrong, but what I saw from Tsitsipas tonight, and at slam level in a BO5 was more impressive than anything I've seen from Zverev.

They played an epick Wimby junior SF with Shapo edging Tsits. Shapo shot up more quickly but Tsits has been the steadier since fall of 2017. He has a great camp around him while Shapo has floundered a bit in that department. I also favor Tsits due to the height advantage that is going to let his serve grow even more potent. Just toss the damn ball right!Still a Shapo believer. These guys are young and we've grown impatient in frustration.
Tsitsi's rise has been RAPID.
Wait, what? Dennis won a set off Djokovic yesterday!!
Tsitsipas has progressed steadily without nearly as much of the hype as Denis. So i wouldn't say he's overhyped. Still, he wouldn't have got close to peak Fedr today.
Radio tennis? Not sure I can do it. I'll watch this till my wife and son get up (we're all under the weather) or till I claim my fourth hour of sleep this week, I think.Listen to it on AO Radio and at least get some rest for your eyes lol.
It would be horrible because RBA is 30 and has already played 3 five set matches.
There's no excusing it. Tsitsi should NOT lose to RBA.
AO today lost the last year's winner and the finalist. Interesting and unusual situation.
It sucks, but can't expect too much anymore as old as he is. I never thought he would win here anyway. It would've been nice to see him get further yeah. I'm going to keep watching. I was watching before Federer and I'll be watching after he's gone. He's still the GOAT and I'm glad to have witnessed it all along the way.Yeah I’ve kinda checked out of this slam now. Really can’t believe the trash I just witnessed after seeing his level on Friday.
Oh fun timesIf everything goes well for Nadal it will be 19-20 in June. Bottom line is 18-20.
Sorry, Mate. (Pat Rafter disagrees.)They played an epick Wimby junior SF with Shapo edging Tsits. Shapo shot up more quickly but Tsits has been the steadier since fall of 2017. Next big rule change...hit the first toss or it’s a fault.
His composure under pressure was very impressive. Watching Zverev the other night he was in fear when 2 sets up against Chardy.
As I said elsewhere, reaching No.1 was his last great goal after managing to win Slams again. Now he can say whatever he wants, but being the best is no longer the priority in his life.Rotterdam 2018 is the last time that Roger looked like Roger.
Idk what the hell happened between Rotterdam and IW last year, but it’s was obvious to me anyway.
Basically he needs Fedr in terminal decline to get to 2 slams near Fed.If everything goes well for Nadal it will be 19-20 in June. Bottom line is 18-20.
just imagine when he improves his service balance which tends to end up hard to his left!Another nextgen player that you identified approx. 4-5 years ahead of the rest of us.
CyprusBaghdatis?
Confidence declines as well... Timing is complex, anything being off could cause it to go awry. We should accept the man is quite fallible.
My god McEnroe is the worst interviewer
