Yeah, I think so. I remember the first time I saw a picture of the 1990 US Open final, Pete and Andre looked so different from the way I was used to seeing them (First time I saw Andre was about 2001). Then I noticed Andre's outfit and the mullet and I laughed so hard.:)

I also don't believe he has anywhere near the same popularity level, that he did a year ago. He's lost a lot of his approval in the tennis community, ever since he released his book and pretty much spit in the face of all his fans and peers.

Just my opinion but I doubt a re-release of Andre's 20 year old stuff, would sell well.

Eh, I suspect there is a generational difference at work here. If you first saw Agassi in 2001, then I'm guessing you didn't grow up watching him at the time of those outfits. I think people are fond of the things that were popular when they first got interested in whatever they're interested in. I grew up watching Agassi in those earlier years and started to really become interested in tennis then. Let me clarify a little, too. I don't necessarily think that retro Agassi gear would outsell the Nadal and Fed stuff, but I think it would have it's market. Maybe I'm it. Ha ha. Did I say before that I thought it would outsell the current stuff? If I did, I amend that statement. The mullet, though... yeah, that was pretty bad. Even for then.

I agree with the Spring '07 Fed Polos. I'm glad I at have the Glacier Ice one. (and Feather Light hat to match). I also have the Black w/White shorts and White w/Black Global Control Shorts (that I'm lookin' to get rid of).

Yeah, I like those. Also seems like the last time Fed had a good shirt.

I definitely didn't grow up watching him. I didn't even know, who he was until the end of his career and I never actually saw a live Pete Sampras match.

That's why I was so surprised to see that Andre, had the long mullet back in the late 80s early 90s. I was used to seeing him as a bald guy, with no earings or flashy colors.:)

I would have liked to have seen him play during his younger days but for me it just wouldn't have been possible to have done it.

That's why there's You Tube.

I agree, with you though, about people being into the things, that were popular when they first got into tennis. I still like Rafa's pirate look and that was brand new when I first started watching pro tennis.

I had this white Le Coq Sportif shirt back in the day, wore it constantly, it was so thin, it'd been washed so much, but was a classic.

obviously this is the winner!

nothing like 80's huge **** stain shirt!!
That one was from well into the 90s and probably from the worst era of Nike tennis wear ever imo. It was on par for utter heinousness by these (the second one in particular - Agassi and McEnroe wore it when playing doubles at the 92 French Open... so so ugly):

One of the GSOAT is one the large auction site at the moment. An early Challenge Court polo...

I haven't seen one for sale for a couple of years... pretty pricey though.

Could Agassi look more ridiculous? I will NEVER forgive Nike for those denim shorts. They ruined tennis clothes for all eternity.

This was my favourite during my younger days... I really wished Nike could do a modern update of these again.

My favorite is McEnroe's 1984 Sergio Tachinni shirt with the navy blue shoulders and the rest white. That is one badass shirt. I also say a close second is Lendl's shirt from that time too.

Oh, brother. We get it. You hate Nike.

As opposed to your German, boring, 3 stripe team, Nike swings for the fences. Sometimes they hit homers, other times they strike out. More hits than misses; as opposed to your team.

Love the old Lendl designs. I picked up one of these in orange and white not long ago.....reminded me of them. Don't like them as much as Ivan's, but still.....

I don't remember what year this was, but I loved this shirt in all the colors Nike offered. I had teh chance to pick up a few, but was not able to make it out to the store before they were sold out in my size back then. Any idea where I can get one now?

Very difficult to get now. I picked mine up on the Bay back in April. That's about the only place you can find them now or if you ask in the Wanted forums here. There's also a white one with green and blue stripes.
