Any Brits still up for this? I fell asleep on the sofa for, like, an hour a little while ago, and now I'm wide awake :|

Might as well get some tennis in if my sleep pattern's going to be screwed like this...

Break point Muzzy, on a Raonic second serve...

Oh my goodness, great second serve and the volley from Milos!

How about that BH low-volley by Raonic, going short crosscourt?

R is better on both 1st and 2nd returns for the time being.

One set means nothing, 2 means everything.

He has somehow overnight improved his biggest weakness - his backhand.

Looking very good, Murray not having any time to do anything.

Yeah man the dude has improved. Making some of the points against Murray look almost too easy.

lol I can't take this anymore. You are constantly comparing Raonic to Sampras. I know you have to be joking you can't possibly think Raonic is anything special.

Milos has always said Sampras was his idol, and he works hard.

Also, I'm not so sure it's that he's constantly getting lucky so much as it's that he's been practicing his placement.

Where have you been?

On his returns when Murray hits a good serve, Raonic hits the ball way up in the air and it somehow lands in every time.

Clearly he;s doing more than just puffing it and being lucky that it lands in. Murray is the world number 3: you think he wouldn't be able to absolutely destroy moonball returns?

Ok there noob. What do you think Andy is doing to the 130's out wide? Floating them back. Just stop trolling, go post somewhere else.

Look at that slice by Raonic. You're telling me that wasn't luck? He hits that into the net 9/10 times.

Or maybe, being a professional tennis player with a professional coach, he has been working on that slice and has slowly been improving it so it only hits the next every 8/10, or 7/10, and it's showing...

People who play tennis for a living tend to practice tennis.

Nothing more satisfying than making your opponent go ballistic...Milos must be doing something right.

Brit commentators "he has been a rock, Raonic"
"and the Tour needs someone like him, to come to the net"
"he can do so much more than banging those serves; BH looking top draw this afternoon"

i have to say that Milos finally plays attractive tennis, especially evident in front this Murray guy (again with his obnoxious mumbling)

I am a Murray fan but I gotta say, besides the huge serve and forehand, Raonic maybe has the best hands at the net I have seen on a "tall" guy. i.e. 6'5" and up.
