Yes. Of course I won't enjoy him beating Fed every time now, but I have to say the days I wanted everyone to take him out are pretty much over. The first time I truly wanted Nadal to win was when he played Djokovic at the AO2012 (not during their FO match that year though). After his amazing comeback season so far, I'd like him to add a few more HC titles as well. I have to say, aside from Federer, he's the only player of whom I look up the highlights of pretty much all his matches that I don't get to see live (which is most of them). I've started to enjoy seeing him ripping forehands or lasso-ing it to the ad-court. When he plays offensive with his forehand, it's one of my favourite shots to watch. I also think he is a much more charismatic and interesting champion than Djokovic and Murray and I've realised I will definitely miss him when he quits, because he adds buzz to the tour.
I was a much more ferocious fan in 2007/2008 than I am now, though. Oh how I raged during the Wimbledon 2008/Australian Open 2009 finals. :') But tennis results don't affect me nearly as much these days as they did back then (of course, age helps there). Maybe I was slightly annoyed during the AO2012 SF, seeing Rafa suddenly raise his game and defense yet again as if losing to Fed in a slam this one time just wasn't an option, but eh. Of the "Big 4", he's certainly my second favourite now. I do think his matches are too slow at times, I really prefer players to take less time because it becomes a much smoother match. But he does what he does. I sincerely hope he wins Montreal, btw.
I've always liked his personality though. Never had a reason to hate him outside of being a threat to Federer, which in itself is pretty short-sighted, but it makes being a fan much more interesting if you hate your favourite's main rival. :')
