DOn't think Federer is in GOAT mode yet. He just changed tactically and out smarted Murray. He has hit too many errors and weird shot selection at times as well

Right, Federer is playing a very smart match, but this isn't spectacular. Very mentally tough, great shots at times...but a fair amount of unforced errors and sometimes getting into a little trouble on his serve. These modes where he has a hard time getting a first serve in are very dangerous for him.

Actually come to think of it, Fed's done a lot of catching up this year in Slams. Sveral times he's started off-colour and lost the 1st set (even 2nd).

This match makes clear once again that the top 3 are on another level!

Congrats Roger and his fans! Past 1 at night here. Time for some sleep.

I disagree, Fed was surprisingly very solid off the ground today, actually beating Murray at his own game.

The key to the match was the 2nd set. If Murray could have broken there at some point he would have had a real shot. Once Federer won that 2nd set it was always pretty much over.

Murray can be proud. He conquered his nerves and played a very good slam final. Unfortunately for him he just isnt as good a player as the top 3 so it will be hard for him to win a major.

I am amazed at Roger's fitness. Long points vs Djoker and he doesn't appear to even be breathing hard vs his twenty something opponent. Same thing here with Murray. Does Fed spend his life off the court running on a treadmill? All the top guys are in great condition...but I'd just like to see Fed gasping for breath once in a while!

Of course returns like that helps keep points short!

Well its a leap forward for Murray.. He finally won a set in a slam final.. Maybe next time he will manage two sets in a final

Funny to see all the Murray fans on here keep saying the match isn't over yet when it has been over for at least an hour now.

I agree he's playing solid, maybe even very solid. But what I said is there are too many errors and not enough great shots to call it spectacular play.

That said, he is beating Murray at his own game thus far, while also playing aggressive when needed. He really forced the issue when he needed to.

I saw some of this as well, especially in longer rallies. BH held up and he forced the error rather than the opposite happening.

The thing is though, he's used to play at a fast/chaotic pace.

Not like the rest of the field, taking a minute or two between points.

Does anyone know a stream that will definately show the ceremony?
All streams usually stop after the match is finished
